Samsung updates its Galaxy Note phablet line with the newest Note 3. Unlike the Galaxy S4, the new 5.7-inch Note gets a more rectangular design and features a soft and textured-touch back cover. Samsung will also release exchangeable back covers for users to express their taste.
Samsung’s 5.7-inch phablet is powered by either 2.3 Quad-core processor with LTE or Samsung’s own Octa-core processor 1.8GHz CPU that supports only 3G network. You can expect 3GB of RAM. The device has a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display that will work with the new S Pen for a easier note taking and enhanced interactive experience.
On the back, you can find a 13 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and there is a 2 Megapixel camera on the front. Both of them support Full HD video recording and the Dual Camera function allows users to take photos and videos with two cameras at the same time. Other specs include WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, IR LED and MHL 2.0.
32GB or 64GB internal storage is provided and the handset supports microSD up to 64GB. A 3200mAh is included. Samsung is planning to launch the phone on 25 September and will release the handset in the US on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.
