Dual Electronics introduces the new XML8110 in-dash docking station for iPhone and iPod players. The system offers up to 240-watt of peak output and is MOSFET powered. It has a solid state mechless design and has a fold down front panel with integrated iPod/iPhone dock for playback and charging.

The Dual XML8110 includes FM/AM tuner and supports Bluetooth for hands-free calling with call ID display. It gets a 12 Character full dot matrix black/white LCD and offers AUX input. This docking station supports all generations of iPhone, iPod nano (all gen), iPod touch (all gen) and some other iPod models.

Lexus announces today the official launch of the LFA, a two-seat supercar scheduled to go into production at the end of 2010 as the pinnacle of the Lexus “F” premium sports car series.

Lexus’ LFA is boosted by a 4.8-liter V10 engine offering up to 412kW (560PS)/8,700rpm output and 480N-m (48.9kgf-m)/6,800rpm torque. The LFA has a max speed of 325km/h and is able to go from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

Only 500 units of Lexua LFA will be produced.

Toyota launches in Japan the new Mark X, a “sporty and luxurious” rear-wheel-drive sedan. The Mark X can be powered by either a 2.5-liter V6 that produces 203 horsepower or the larger 3.5-liter V6 offering 315 horsepower. Toyota introduces in Japan the new Sai luxury hybrid sedan that will be on sale on Japan on 7 December. Toyota’s Sai features a gasoline-electric Toyota Hybrid System (THS) II with a 2.4-liter Atkinson cycle combustion engine for outstanding fuel efficiency and use of Ecological Plastic (made from plant-derived materials) for approximately 60% of the interior surface area.

The engine of Sai offers 147 horsepower and up to 187hp when there is electric boost from the 245-volt battery pack. It does 0-60lm in 8.4 seconds. The Sai will come in multiple colors.

The Sai is based on a concept derived from the Japanese word sai-which means “talent” when written as “才” and “coloration” when written as “彩”-as a hybrid-only sedan “combining advanced talent and multi-color sophistication”.

Lotus Cars USA is going to launch in the US and Canada the new 2010 Lotus Exige S240 high performance coupe with new front styling, a new rear wing. The Lotus Exige S240 is boosted by an air-to-air intercooled and supercharged 1.8 liter Lotus-tuned and Toyota-sourced 2ZZ-GE engine with Intelligent Variable Valve Timing (VVT-i) offering 240hp at 8,000 rpm and 170 ft.-lbs. of torque at 5,500.

The Exige S240 sprints to 60 mph in a blistering 4.1 seconds and the 100 mph barrier sails by in approximately 10 seconds. Lexus updates its IS-F range. The new IS-F sedan is powered by the same 5.0-litre V8 engine generating 417bhp at 6,600rpm and 505Nm of torque at 5,200rpm with an eight-speed Sports Direct Shift (SDS) automatic transmission with manual paddle shift override. 0 to 62mph acceleration can be dispatched in 4.8 seconds, en route to an electronically governed 168mph top speed.

The updated model gets Limited Slip Differential to improve IS F handling and traction. At the Frankfurt motor show, Lexus reveals the 2010 LS600h hybrid car. As Lexus’ flagship, the LS600h gets the full hybrid Lexus Hybrid Drive system that includes a new ECO mode, which modifies the throttle action and performance of the air conditioning system to support fuel-efficient driving.

Hyundai has announced the pricing of the 2010 Elantra sedan. The Elanta is available in three distinctive trim levels with the addition of “Blue” to the lineup.

First of all, the Elantra Blue is boosted by a 2.0L engine and five-speed M/T transmission. It comes with six airbags, ABS, 4-wheel disc brakes, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), active front head restraints and adjustable head restraints for all seating positions. The Elantra Blue os the lowest priced in the lineup, costing $14,145.

Next, the Elantra GLS has all the equipment from the Elantra Blue equipped with the Comfort Package (including a 172-watt AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 audio system) and adds a four-speed automatic transmission, dual front illuminated vanity mirrors with sunvisor extensions, fog lights and a windshield shade band. Korean car make Hyundai announced the 2010 Sonata mid-size sedan for its home market. The Korea version of the 2010 Sonata is boosted by a 2-liter Theta II MPi four-cylinder engine producing 165 horsepower and 20.1kg/m torque.

The new Sonata will also be launched in the US as 2011 model. US version is powered by a 2.4 liter Theta II GDI engine. Hyundai will start production of the new Sonata at its Alabama plant early next year.
