Two month before, Creative brought the Vado HD 2nd Gen camcorder, today the company rolls out the third generation Vado HD Pocket Video Camera. Like its two brothers, the Vado HD 3G is able to record 1280×720 HD video at 30fps. Videos are captured in .mp4 format with H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec.

Hasselblad announced the new H3DII-50 MS multi-shot camera system, which is based on the H3DII-50. The H3DII-50 MS is a 50 Megapixel camera ssytem that captures a sequence of 4 shots, each offset by a one pixel increment. Casio announced the new EX-G1, which is the first model in the company’s new EXILIM G line. The G1 is shock-resistant, waterproof, dustproof digital camera and measures just 0.78-inch, making it the world’s slimmest shock-proof camera.

The EX-G1 features a 12.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, 4x digital zoom, ISO up to 3200, a 2.5-inch LCD display, and a microSD/SDHC card slot. The rugged camera is able to record 848×480 video at 30fps and is capable of 3fps high speed shooting.

The EXILIM EX-G1 is designed with shock-resistant elements throughout the camera, both inside and out. It’s outer body is made from stainless steel to withstand external shocks while a polycarbonate cover absorbs shocks to the body side near the shutter. The waterproof inner body of the camera is made from polycarbonate reinforced with fiberglass while a buckle-lock construction is added to absorb impact, using fewer screws to secure the inner body. Also, a resin ring has been added to protect the lens and acrylic plate is added to protect the LCD from water pressure.

Leica has just announced the “very special limited edition” Leica M7 Edition “Hermes” 35mm rangefiner system camera. The Hermers M7 comes in silver chrome with a choice of two calfskin leather finishes – orange and “etoupe”.

The M7 Edition Hermes camera set comes with a silver anodized Leica Summilux-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. wide-angle lens, a matching classic round lens hood in silver anodized metal and a Leicavit M rapid winder in silver chrome. Casio announced in Japan the new HIGH-SPEED EXILIM EX-FH25 and EX-FC150 digital cameras that serves as successor to the EX-FH20 and EX-FC100. Casio’s new cameras are both equipped with a 10 Megapixel backlit CMOS image sensor and are capable of 1000fps high speed shooting (but at 224×64 resolution).

The EXILIM EX-FH25 is a ultra zoom camera with a 20x long zoom lens, 26mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display while the more compact EX-FC150 features 5x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD screen. They both sport sensor-shift image stabilization, 30fps 720p HD video recording capability, ISO up to 3200, 85.9MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC card slot.

Casio announced in Japan its latest camera, HIGH-SPEED Exilim EX-FS10S, which is designed to make you a better golfer. The FS10S comes with built-in software to analyze your posture and then improve your swing by better placing your elbow, arms or head.

Ricoh announced its new GXR interchangeable unit camera system featuring the world’s smallest and lightest digital camera with the ability to change lenses. Ricoh’s new system is an innovation in the camera industry. Instead of just changing the lens, Ricoh introduces the “camera unit”, which integrates lens, image sensor, and image processing engine, meaning the body itself does not contain an image sensor.

The GXR system uses slide-in mount system to attach camera units to the body. The body (aka externals) is built using die cast magnesium and its surface is covered with a corrosion-resistant “pear-skin” coating. There is also an image processing engine in the body. It gets a 3-inch LCD display.

Ricoh brings two camera units, the GR LENS A12 50 mm F2.5 MACRO and the RICOH LENS S10 24-72 mm F2.5-4.4 VC. The former uses a 23.6 mmx15.7 mm (APS-C size) CMOS sensor with 12.3 Megapixel and its is obviously a lens for macro shooting, with a shooting distances from infinity to the 1/2x maximum magnification macro range. The RICOH LENS camera unit, instead, gets a 10 Megapixel 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor, Smooth Imaging Engine IV, 24mm to 72mm 3x wide-angle zoom and camera shake correction function.

Optional accessories include LC-2 lens cover, VF-2 electronic viewfinder, and GF-1 external flash.

Olympus adds to its Digital PEN line the new E-P2 Micro Four Thirds digital SLR camera, its second Micro43 camera, which is the world’s smallest 12.3-megapixel interchangeable lens system with In-body Image Stabilization.

The Olympus E-P2 features the new Continuous Autofocus (C-AF) Tracking System tracks the subject across or back-and-forward through the frame and two new art filters – Diorama & Cross Process for greater creative expression. It has a 3-inch LCD display and comes with detachable VF-2 Electronic View Finder (EVF) that provides 1.15x magnification and a 100% field of view. The new camera includes electronic image stabilization, TruePic V image processor, Live View Autofocus, Face Detection, Dust Reduction system and 19 scene-select modes. It can capture 1280×720p HD video at 30fps.

The PEN E-P2 uses Micro Four Thirds mount and comes with MMF-1 Four Thirds System Lens Adapter, so other Four Thirds lenses can also be used. The ultra compact camera accpets SD/SDHC memory cards. It will be released in December 2009 and two version will be available, one with  ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens and the other with 17mm f2.8 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens.
