Canon PIXMA MX512

Canon introduces three new all-in-one PIXMA Office printers, the MX512, MX432 and MX372. All three models are capable of printing, copying, scanning and fax and the first two models come with built-in WiFi 802.11n for easy wireless printing. The new PIXMA Office printer use the two-cartridge ChromaLife 100 ink system, with one black cartridge and one color cartridge to deliver high-quality output at a maximum color resolution of 4800x1200dpi.

The MX512 and MX432 both provide print speeds at 9.7 ipm for black-and-white documents and approximately 5.5 ipm for color. The MX512 features the Dual Function Panel for easy navigation through menus, an Ethernet port for increased connectivity, integrated 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder, and Auto Duplex printing to help conserve paper usage. It has a 2.5-inch LCD screen for easy operation and preview images, and multiple card slots (SD/SDHC, microSD/SDHC, MMC, MS PRO/PRO Duo/Micro) for printing directly from memory cards . Both MX512 and MX432 include support for Apple’s AirPrint, allowing users to print photos, emails, documents directly and wirelessly from iPad 1/2, iPhone 3GS/4/4S, iPod touch 3G running iOS 4.2 or later. Users can set up the wireless printers easily using the one-press Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button.

Canon PIXMA MX732

The MX432 also has integrated 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder and a 2-line LCD display. The MX372 OFFERS 8.7ipm for black-and-white and 5.0ipm for color printer speeds. All three models can produce a 4″x6″ borderless photos in approximately 46 seconds. They all feature the FastFront system that allows users to open the front panel of the printer to easily access both the ink and paper for easy replacement. Using the Full HD Movie Print software included with all three models, users can produce clear images of frames from videos captured on compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital cameras.

The PIXMA MX512 is priced at $149.99, while the MX432 and MX372 are priced at $99.99 and $79.99, respectively.

Sprint launches the Frost White version of the Samsung Epic 4G Touch Galaxy S II smartphone. The Epic 4G Touch, unlike the original Epic 4G, comes without physical QWERTY keyboard but a large 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus 800×480 touchscreen. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1.2Ghz dual core processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with the iconic TouchWiz UI.

The Epic 4G Touch sports a 8 Megapixel rear-facing camera with auto focus and 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 2 Megapixel front camera for self-portraits or video chat. It supports Sprint’s 3G and 4G mobile networks and includes Mobile Hotspot functionality for sharing mobile connections with up to 8 WiFi devices. In addition to WiMAX network, Sprint is also joining the party of LTE and the carrier is going to release the LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone. Powered a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the phone runs Android 2.3. It features a 4-inch WVGA NOVA touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel main camera, and a  VGA front-facing camera. The Viper is a Sprint ID smartphone, allowing users to through the clutter of more than 400,000 apps in Android Market by selecting from a variety of mobile ID packs featuring apps, ringers, wallpapers, widgets and more.

The Viper 4G LTE works on Sprint’s LTE mobile network. It supports NFC and works with Google Wallet. The Viper also supports Bluetooth, GPS WiFi and DLNA connectivity. It has a microSD card slot for expansion. No words yet on availability and pricing.

Sprint is launching the ZTE Optik, a 3G tablet running Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. The Optik is powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM and comes with 16GB internal storage. It has a 7-inch 1280×800 touchscreen and dual cameras – 5 Megapixel rear and 2 Megapixel front.

The ZTE Optik has integrated GPS and supports Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity and of course Sprint’s 3G mobile network. It has built-in stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack. In addition to the ultra zoom P510, Nikon also updates the P-series with the new CoolPix P310 compact digital camera, which is the successor to the CoolPix P300. Not only allows users to use optical zoom while video recording, the camera also lets users edit movies in-camera for a seamless moviemaking experience. The P310 comes with a 3-inch LCD display and its HDMI output allows you to show images and videos on HDTV.

ZTE releases the Light Tab 2 (model V9A) tablet in the UK. The new tablet runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on a Qualcomm SnapDragon MSM8255 1.4GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.
