AAXA Technologies introduces the P4 WiFi that, as its name tells, is WiFi-enabled version of the P4 pico projector. Compare to 80 lumens of the original P4, the new WiFi model also offers a higher brightness of 100 lumens, using triple LEDs light engine enhanced with Osram Converter Green technology. The P4 WiFi features 1280×768 resolution and 2000:1 contrast ratio.

NEC announced that its MultiSync EA273WM has got the iF Product Design Award for 2012. The 27-inch widescreen monitor is intended for enterprise users and it is designed by Naoto Fukasawa, an internationally-known, award-winning industrial designer. It features Full HD 1920×1080 native resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and WLED-backlit that significantly reduce power consumption. Though based on TN panel, the monitor still offer 178/178-degree wide viewing angle.

LG FLATRON N2311AZ

LG introduces its FLATRON P Series of cloud monitors, which are basically VMware-based Zero Client monitors that can be networked to create a virtual computing system. The 19-inch N1910LZ, 22-inch N2210WZ and 23-inch N2311AZ all utilizes a Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP) Chipset and VMware to deliver secure virtual computing systems. The P series is server-based Zero Client, which means software is managed from a centralized network and there’s reduced risk of viruses, spyware and hacking, and users are always using the latest OS and software installed on the host. These Cloud Monitors are fully compatible with VMware View Virtual Desktop Environment. Each of them has 128MB memory and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.

Lenovo is launching the new ThinkVision LT2323z Full HD IPS display, which is the first monitor to be qualified by Microsoft Lync to deliver enhance VoIP experience. The LT2323z is a voice and audio optmized monitor equipped with integrated Full HD camera, speakers as well as dual digital microphone with noise cancellation.

Vivitek launches in Europe the Qumi Q5, the first HD pocket projector to come with web browser. Simply plug the optional WiFi dongle into the projector’s USB port, and you can connect it to the Internet for web browsing. Based on DLP technology, the projector is equipped with Single 0.45-inch DMD DLP display engine. It features 1280×800 native resolution, up to 500 Lumens brightness, 3500:1 contrast ratio, Vertical ±40° keystone correction and 1.55:1 throw ratio.

Vivitek is launching its new D5180HD and D5185HD Full HD projectors for large venue. Based on DLP display engine, the new projectors deliver Full HD 1920×1200 native resolution with up to 3000:1 contrast ratio and 4200 lumens brightness. Each of them is equipped with a 330W lamp with up to 2000 hours of life, and offers vertical +/-25° keystone correction, a zoom ratio of 1.25x and a lens shift range of -40/ +100% for vertical and +/- 10% for horizontal.

HP launches the Compaq LA2405x, a 24-inch enterprise-oriented monitor ideal for graphic-intensive applications and increasing productivity. The LA2405x delivers Full HD 1920×1080 images with 1000:1 typical contrast and 3,000,000:1 contrast, 250 nits brightness, 5ms reponse time and 170/160-degree viewing angle. The monitor comes with a flexible stand with 35-degree tilt, 90-degree pivot and 4.7-inch height adjustments, offering users optimal viewing control. The stand’s swivel capabilities (swivel of -170 degrees to +170 degrees) also makes sharing screen with others simple and quick.

HP is launching a new LED-backlit LCD monitor with IPS (In-plane Switching) panel, the 23-inch 2311xi. Using IPS panel, the monitor delivers a wide viewing angle of 178-degree for both horizontal and vertical. The 2311xi features Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 7ms GTG response time.

Mitsubishi’s new 56P-QF65LCU is a 56-inch industrial-grade LCD display with Quad Full High Definition (QFHD)3840×2160 resolution (aka 4K-resolution), which is an ideal solution for applications that require ultra-high detail. The monitor utilizes a 4K a Super MVA LCD with a 50,000 hour back-light lifetime. It features 1200:1 contrast ratio, 450cd/m2 brightness, 176/176-degree viewing angle and 12ms GTG response time. It has has two brightness modes for installation flexibility: power-saving normal (480 watts) and bright (540 watts).

Mitsubishi introduces two new professional portable projectors with high-brightness, the WD720U and XD700U both based on DLP display technology. Both models are 3D-ready for rendering 3D images, and of course you have to prepare electronic shutter glasses. The WD720U features 1280×800 native resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 4300 lumens brightness, while the XD720U delivers 1024×768 images with 3000:1 contrast and 5000 lumens brightness. They have 5-Segment (R,G,B,W,Y) color wheel.
