EIZO launches the new FlexScan EV2334W-T Full HD LCD display. The 23-inch LCD features 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 7ms response time and 178/178-degree viewing angle.

The VA (Vertical Alignment) LCD based monitor offers a HDMI, a DVI-D and a D-sub inputs. It includes EcoView Sense power save function and Auto EcoView Sense that automatic adjusts brightness.

Epson introduces two new ultra short throw projectors, the PowerLite 450W and Epson PowerLite 460, which are designed with K-12 education in mind. The former offers 2500 lumens white light and color light output and WXGA 16:10 resolution while the latter features 3000 lumens brightness and XGA resolution.

These projectors can be mounted as close as 2.5 inches away from the wall to accommodate smaller classrooms or meeting rooms, and can easily be used with a standard or interactive whiteboard, projection screen or a simple white wall. They can can project a 60-inch diagonal image with the lens only 18 inches away.

The 3LCD-based PowerLite 450W and 460 both use Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology, the lamp life can last up to 3500 hours. They have built-in closed captioning decoder and are able to instantly project images from a Windows PC or Mac via a USB connection. Over-the-network projection is also possible thanks to the Ethernet LAN port.

The PowerLite 450W and PowerLite 460 are priced at $1499 and $1699 respectively.

Here is eStarling’s new WiFi 802.11n-enabled touchscreen digital photo frame. The device supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n connecitivty as well as Ethernet LAN. Thanks to the internet connection, the new frame is able to access feeds from Flickr, Gmail, Picasa, Facebook..etc. There is even a Twitter app.

Bridgestone shows the world its flexible, color, touchscreen e-paper display, which is based on the company’s “Quick-response Liquid Powder (QR-LPD)” technology. The flexible reader has a 13.1-inch touch-sensitive e-paper that is capable of showing 4096 colors. It is just 5.8mm thick.

At the FPD International 2009, Samsung shows its ultra slim AMOLED Mobile Displays. The first prototype is the Hybrid Desktop Notebook with a 14-inch AMOLED display. The slim display is just 2.7mm thick and features 1366×768 resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Another 7-inch AMOLED display can be found on a netbook. The screen provides 1024×600 resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio as well. There are also a transparent 176×200 display, a 3.5-inch WVGA curved display, and a 3.5mm thin AMOLED 3D TV with 240Hz refresh rate.

Motorola launches in the UK a bunch of digital photo frames. The LS420 Duo and LS720D Duo are dual-screen frames with two 4.2-inch and 7-inch display respecitvely. They are priced at GP80 and GBP130.

The LS700 is a basic 7-inch digiframe priced at GBP50 while the GBP150LS1000 has a 10.4-inch display. Motorola’s LS1000W, priced at GBP200, is basically the WiFi version of the LS1000. These The 10-inch frames have 512MB internal memory and built-in music player and speakers.

JOBO announced the KeyFrame, a keyring digital photo frame with a 1.5-inch color display. The KeyFrame supports JPEG, BMP and GIF images. It has internal memory that hold up to 60 images and internal lithum battery that offers up to 4 hours of use.

Other than showing images, the KeyFrame offers also clock and calendar function. It has a USB 2.0 port and is compatible with PC and Mac. JOBO’s KeyFrame measures 100 x 40 x 14 mm and weighs 37g. It will be released in November for Euro 15.95.

Samsung launches two new LCD HDTV monitors, the 933HD+ and 2333HD. Not only serve as LCD display/monitor for your PC, both of them are equipped with integrated HDTV tuner and functionality. The 19-inch 933HD+ has 1360×768 resolution while the 23-inch 2333HD gets 1920×1080p Full HD resolution.

NEC introduces three new digital cinema projectors, NC1200C, NC2000C and NC3200S, all meet DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) requirements. These projectors are based on DLP Cinema light engine providing 2200:1 contrast ratio.

The NEC NC1200C features 9,000 lumens of brightness for screen sizes of up to 46 feet wide, the NC2000C at 17,000 lumens for screens up to 65 feet wide, and the ultra-bright NC3200S at 31,000 lumens for screens up to 105 feet wide. They have a ophisticated dual-airflow design minimizes dust, and segregates the bulb from other internal components for better long-term serviceability and reliability.

LG introduces in Korea the Flatron W30 series secondary LCD monitor displays designed to give your notebook or netbook a large display. Two models are available, the 18.5-inch W1930S and 21.5-inch W2230S, both come in five colors – Apple Mint, Jelly Pink, Oreo, Hawaiian and Blueberry.

Lenovo announced five new ThinkVision eco-friendly LCD displays, the 17-inch L1711p, 19-inch L1951p Wide, 22-inch L2250p Wide, L2251p Wide and L2251x Wide. The L2251z is Lenovo’s flagship, which is the company’s most environmentally-responsible monitor for its use of recycled plastics, low power consumption and first PC monitor to be TCO Certified Edge.
