Atlona adds support for digital and analog audio output to its AT-HDAiR wireless USB to VGA/HDMI adapter. The adapter basically allows you to wirelessly connect USB-enabled PC to HDTV/Projector or other display devices via VGA or HDMI.

Atlona’s new AT-HDAiR features digital audio output via HDMI and 3.5mm stereo jack. It supports up to 1440×1050 resolution and offers a wireless range of 30 feet. As HDMI and VGA connections are active at the same, the HDAiR can provide signal to two displays at the same time.

AMD announced the new ATI Radeon HD 5970 that claimes to be the “fastest graphics card in the world. The 5970 is equipped with dual GPUs with a total of 4.3 billion 40nm transistors  and GDDR5 video memory. It uses PCI Express 2.1 x16 interface and supports DirectX 11.

Panasonic debuts in the US its new MW-10 multimedia system that combines CD audio system, iPod dock and digital photo frame into one single device. The MW-10 sports a 9-inch WVGA LCD display, built-in CD palyer and FM/AM radio tuner.

Parrot unveils its new Grande Specchio digital photo frame designed by French artist Martin Szekely. The new designer digital frame is running Google Android OS and features a 10.4-inch LCD display.

Matrox announced the M9188 PCIe x16, the world’s first single-slot octal graphics card that is capable of supporting eight DisplayPort or DVI Single-Link outputs from a single workstation.

Sony showed at the Tokyo Digital Content EXP0 2009 a prototype of 360-degree 3D display. The device has 96×128 resolution and is able to display 24-bit colors. Sony suggests that the display can be used for 3D medical image visualization, virtual pet, 3D digital frame and even 3D TV.

Epson introduces two new ultra short throw projectors, the PowerLite 450W and Epson PowerLite 460, which are designed with K-12 education in mind. The former offers 2500 lumens white light and color light output and WXGA 16:10 resolution while the latter features 3000 lumens brightness and XGA resolution.

These projectors can be mounted as close as 2.5 inches away from the wall to accommodate smaller classrooms or meeting rooms, and can easily be used with a standard or interactive whiteboard, projection screen or a simple white wall. They can can project a 60-inch diagonal image with the lens only 18 inches away.

The 3LCD-based PowerLite 450W and 460 both use Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology, the lamp life can last up to 3500 hours.
