Andy Rubin, head of Android, showed us a demo of the Android OS to BBC’s Darren Waters. The phone is running at 300MHz and it is capable for playing Quake and showing Google Maps Street View.
It’s not perfect, but it’s also not ready for prime time, so we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on some of the janky-looking elements of the OS.
