Vizio adds two new models, the 19-inch VM190XVT and 23-inch VM230XVT to its Razor LED HDTV lineup. Both new HDTVs are equipped with Vizio’s Razor LED-backlight technology and offer 20,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits of brightness.

The Vizio VM190XVT and VM230XVT has Razor Thin stylng at less then 1-inch thick. The 23-inch Vizio VM230XVT features Full HD 1920×1080p resolution. Samsung launches two new LCD HDTV monitors, the 933HD+ and 2333HD. Not only serve as LCD display/monitor for your PC, both of them are equipped with integrated HDTV tuner and functionality. The 19-inch 933HD+ has 1360×768 resolution while the 23-inch 2333HD gets 1920×1080p Full HD resolution.

Sony announced the new VAIO L, its first touchscreen all-in-one HD PC/TV. The VAIO L has a 24-inch 1920×1080p Full HD touchscreen display. It is a “ultimate multi-media hub” that serves as your PC, HDTV and DVR. The VAIO L has built-in digital NTSC/ATSC TV tuner and DVR capabilities.

Sony’s touchscreen all-in-one is boosted by an Intel processor up to Core 2 Quad 2.66GHz, up to 12GB of DDR2 RAM, and either a NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M GPU with 1GB video memory or a 512MB GeForce G210M. It gets up to a 1TB hard drive and a Blu-ray/DVD combo drive.

Toshiba adds to its REGZA LCD TV lineup the flagship CELL REGZA 55X1 LCD HDTV. Toshiba’s new HDTV is equipped with the CELL Broadband Engine, the same processor that boosts Sony’s PS3, offering an arithmetic processing capability approximately 143 times that of the current top-of-the-line REGZA TV.

Toshiba’s 55-inch CELL REGZA features a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Mega LED panel and LED-backlight system offering up to 1250cd/m2 luminance, and ClearScan 240 scan rate. The TV comes with a stylish tuner/DVR box with 3TB storage capacity. Two terabytes of capacity are dedicated to the CELL REGZA’s “time-shift machine”, which can simultaneously record up to about 26 hours of programming for up to eight channels of digital terrestrial broadcasts.

Sharp announced the new AQUOS LX1 series White LED-backlit HDTV in Japan. Sharp’s new LED AQUOS is available in four screen sizes, the 60-inch LC-60LX1, 52-inch LC-52LX1, 46-inch LC-46LX1 and 40-inch LC-40LX1.

All models have White LED for backlight and Full HD 1920×1080p resolution, 2 Million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 176-degree viewing angle and integrated digital TV tuner. The LX1 series also gets 30W audio output power. They have three HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, S-Video, D-sub input..etc.

ViewSonic adds to its HDTV line six new LCD TVs. Out of the six models, you can expect four Full HD models. All of them are equipped with ATSC/NTSC/QAM TV tuner.

The 32-inch VT3245, 37-inch VT3745 and 42-inch N4285 all feature 1920×1080p Full HD resolution. The first two models have 4000:1 contrst ratio, 5ms response time and 3D video processing, while the larger N4285 offers 10,000:1 contrast ratio and advanced image scaling Eco Panel. The VT3245 and VT3745 are priced at $649 and $799 respectively and the N4285 at $999.

The 23-inch VT2342 also offer 1920×1080p Full HD resolution. It has 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and SRS TruSurround HD audio. The 20-inch VT2042 has boasts similar features but has a resolution of 1600×900. They are priced at $349 and $299 respectively.

Lastly, the 26-inch VT2645 comes with a 1366×768 LCD panel and SRS TruSurround HD audio. It costs $449.

Sony introduces in Japan the new BRAVIA ZX5 series wireless LCD HDTV with LED-backligting. Two models are available, the 52-inch KDL-52ZX5 and the 46-inch KDL-46ZX5. They utilize the edge-lit LED backlighting technology.

These HDTVs features 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, Motionflow 240Hz refresh rate, BRAVIA Engine 3 image procesor and integrated HDTV tuner. The ZX5 will come with a wireless media box for connecting external video sources and wireless HD streaming, like LG’s LHX and LH85. They have built-in 10Wx2 speakers. There are four HDMI inputs, S-video, Composite, D-sub as well as Ethernet LAN port.

Sony will release the BRAVIA ZX5 on 20 November.

LG shows two series of wireless HDTVs, the 55LHX and LH85, at the CEDIA 2009. The 55-inch 55LHX is a slim wireless HDTV with LED-backligth while the LH85 series will be available in 55-inch 55LH85 and 47-inch 47LH85 models.

LG’s 55LHX and LH85 wireless HDTVs allows users to place the HDTV virtually anywhere in the room. A media box is supplied to ansmit an uncompressed Full HD 1080p signal with virtually no interference or delay directly to the TV and the HDTVs is able to receive the signal up to 30 feet away. That means, users simply connect all their multimedia devices such as cable box, Blu-ray/DVD player, game console to the media box, and begin their wireless entertainment experience.

LG 55LHX has attained the THX Display Certification and features 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, full-array LED backlighting  with local dimming, and TruMotion 240Hz technology. Samsung presents the LN65B650, its latest CCDL-backlit LCD Full HD TV with a 65-inch screen size. Samsung presents in its home country Korea the LED TV Couple which is basically a HDTV/touch tablet combo that includes a 55-inch LED-backlit LCD HDTV and a 7-inch touchscreen tablet. ThesE two device are connected using WiFi 802.11n wireless connection.

Other than controlling the LED TV, the tablet is also able to control the home theater system. The tablet can even receive live stream of TV and Blu-ray content from the HDTV or home theater system.

LG presents at the IFA 2009 its BORDERLESS TVs that appear to be a single, uninterrupted sheet of glass and is the first TVs to completely eliminate the seam between the screen and the surrounding bezel.

Two BORDERLESS TVs are introduced, the SL8000 and SL9000 both with a modern style design, which is basically the SL80 and SL90 for the US market. Mitisubishi ships its new Diamond models of Unisen Immersive Sound LCD HDTV that come integrated with VUDU 1080p HD streaming capability. Two models are available, the 46-inch LT-46249 and 52-inch LT-52249.

The Diamond Unisen HDTVs have built-in Ethernet port foe direct internet connection, which allows consumers to enjoy VUDU HD movie streaming. Toshiba announced the launch of its new REGZA SV Series, that is the company’s most advanced and first LED-backlight LCD HDTV to date.
