French people is getting the QOOQ, a 10.2-inch cooking and recipe tablet device. The device gets a touchscreen display and supports Ethernet and WiFi connectivity so it can access online content.

The QOOQ offers users, besides recipe, complete meal prep videos, instructions and advice on choosing ingredients, shopping lists, meal planners. Of course, you have to subscribe the service for Euro 12.95 per month to get all these. The QOOQ offers a SD card slot and a USB port as well. It does also photo viewing, weather and internet radio. There is a built-in stand.

The QOOQ tablet costs Euro 349.

Sharp announced in Japan the JD-7C1CL/CW DECT cordless home phone that comes with a 7-inch touchscreen digital photo frame as its companion. The digital frame has a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen display. It serves as a base station of the cordless phone and offers basic phone operation.

Other than these, the frame is also a digital frame that shows photo from your mobile phones or cameras wih IR (most Japanese phones do). It is also a calendar, clock and address book. It comes with 128MB internal memory for saving photos.

Samsung announced the new WF419, an eco-friendly Front Load Washer that is claimed to be  the “most efficient front load full size washer in its class”. The WF419 is Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT) steam washer that save power and water.
