aigo’s P8860 MID has been disassembled by folks over UMPCFever. The main purpose of dissecting the aigo MID is to assess the possibility off adding an additional HSDPA 3.5G module and flash drives. The conlusion is:
Ram and SSD are soldered.
Many spaces on both sides for upgrade of HSDPA module or flash drive.
16Gb or 32Gb Flash drive upgrade is feasible!!

Asus has announced the N10 series netbook and three models are coming to the US, including N10E-A1, N10J-A1, and N10J-A2. All of them are powered by the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and has a 10.2-inch WXGA LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam.
Asus’ N10E-A1 packs 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and 160GB hard drive. It has integrated graphic card, WiFi 802.11b/g and a 3-cell battery. It runs WIndows XP Home. It costs $599.99.
Asus N10J-A1 comes with 2GB of RAM, a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphic card and 160GB hard drive. It offers 802.11n WiFi and a 6-cell battery. It runs Windows Vista Home Premium. It is priced at $699.99.

UMPCPortal has done a review on the Gigabyte M912M, a tablet style netbook PC. The M912M is one of the Gigabyte’s M912 series. It is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of memory and 160GB hard drive. It features a 8.9-inch 1024×600 touchscreen, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

Overall, the Gigabyte M912M is a nice, no, very nice, mini convertible offering a couple of unique features that are really worth thinking about. Media fans looking to carry around their complete library and use a netbook as a high quality media player should take a very close look at this one. Acer adds four new laptops to its Aspire Gemstone laptop lineup, including the Aspire 8930, Aspire 6930, Aspire 5735 and Aspire 4730. All of them are “designed improve the overall mobile computing experience for consumers.”
Acer’s Aspire 8930-6448 offers dynamic HD functionalities. It comes with a 18.4-inch HD CineCrystal widescreen display. Powered by Core 2 Duo processor, it has 4GB of memory and a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT video card.
Also based on Centrino processor, the Acer Aspire 6930-6809 has a 16-inch LCD display, 3GB of RAM, WiFi 802.11n, and Intel’s GMA 4500MHD graphics.
Both Aspire 5735-4624 and Aspire 4730-4374, instead, are powered by an Intel Pentium Dual Core processor. They have WiFi 802.11n support and a 15.6-inch LCD and 14.1-inch LCD respectively.
