Samsung STORY Station Plus 2TB External Hard Drive with eSATA

Samsung adds to its STORY line the new STORY Station Plus external hard drive that offers an 3.0 Gbps eSATA interface for fast data transfer. Based on 3.5-inch hard drive, the STORY Station Plus comes in densities ranging from 1TB to 2TB. USB 2.0 interface is also provided.

The Samsung STORY Station Plus includes Samsung Auto Backup for ongoing data preservation, SecretZone software for personal data encryption and SafetyKey for password protection. The hard drive features also Samsung’s ow standby power design that reduces the standby power by 96 percent to 0.1 watts (W) from the conventional 2.5W.

Samsung’s STORY Station Plus will be available by the end of November. 2TB version is priced at $299.
