At the World IT Show 2009 Korea, Korean navigator maker EasyCar shows its UT710 GPS navigation device that offers 3D map view. The UT710 is powered by 600MHz dual core processor and SiRF StarIII GPS chipset. It has a 7-inch 800×480 LCD screen, dual SD card slot and a USB host port.

The EasyCar UT710 comes with 4GB or 8GB internal memory.

Active Media Products (AMP) announced the new Predator GT series 2.5-inch Solid State Drive (SSD). The Predator GT uses SATA 3Gbps interface and is equipped with 8-channel controller and 128MB cache memory.

Available in 64GB (S64G-25P) and 128GB (S128G-25P) capacities, Active Media’s SSD offers 220MB/s read speed and 200MB/s (128GB) or 120MB/s (64GB)write speed. They are priced at $199.95 and $369.95 respectively.

Australian company, Kogan offers a 8-inch digital photo frame with built-in WiFi 802.11b/g support. The frame features a 8-inch 800×600 LCD display and 256MB internal memory. It has a SD/MMC/MS card slot and a USB 2.0 port.

Kogan’s frame can pull photos from popular web album services Flickr, iPhoto, Smugmug Photobucket, Picasa as well as Facebookv via RSS feed. The device can also read twitter feed and other RSS feeds. With the free SeeFrame iPhone app, uses can send photo to the frame directly from their iPhone.

Kogan’s 8-inch WiFi frame costs AUD$169.

Autonet Mobile launches the in-car WiFi router (model: KT-ANMRTR-01) that turns your vehicle into a WiFi hotspot. With the KT-ANMRTR-01 in-car router, your car can connect to Autonet Mobile’s 3G EVDO/2.5g 1xRRT network for internet connection and then share the connection via WiFi.

The router supports 802.11b/g standards and allows up to 10 WiFi devices. The KT-ANMRTR-01 router cost $299.99 and the Autonet Mobile service starts at $29/monthly.

Vodafone UK introduces the Vodafone Access Gateway that is the first femtocell cellular extender introduced in Europe. The Access Gateway is a compact box designed to improve customers’ mobile phone signal in their homes.

Users just plug the device into home broadband line and they can enjoy an improved and more reliable 3G coverage. The Access Gateway works with all 3G phones and is able to handle up to four voice calls at the same time.

The Gateway femtocell is available from free or as part of an inclusive price plan from as little as GBP15 a month. It is also available as a one off purchase for GBP160 or a monthly charge from as little as GBP5.
