Mitsubishi HC7000 is a Full HD LCD projector that offers 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. It featurs 72,000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 lumens brightness. It can produce 100-inch image from 3.1-5 meters. The projector has two HDMI , composite, S-video inputs.

Mitsubishi has certainly come on leaps and bounds with the HC7000, providing more evidence if it were needed that LCD has no intention of being overwhelmed by its great DLP and D-ILA rivals. But with the projection world now getting so scarily competitive, little issues like slightly impoverished brightness levels and minor colour tone slips are enough to cost the HC7000 the unreserved recommendation it would definitely have earned if we’d seen it six months to a year ago.

Firebox offers the WoodStation, a wooden motion sensitive LED clock/weather station. The WoodStation shows time and weather forecast on its smooth surface and there is a movement sensor that activates the display. It’s display can be viewed under direct sunlight.

Navigon launches in Spain the new 8410 GPS navigation device that comes equipped with a DVB-T digital TV tuner. Priced at Euro 449, the Navigon 8410 features a 5-inch touchscreen display and offers photo-realistic navigation.

The 8410 has a polished steel frame. It comes with built-in media player for video, audio as well as images.

Bose announced the SoundLink wireless music system that is basically a portable speaker system that allows users to play music from their computer wirelessly in and around the home. The SoundLink comes with a USB wireless dongle for streaming music from your PC to the speaker.

The system offers an AUX input for connecting other music sources such as MP3 player, iPod, iPhone, CD/MD players. The Bose SoundLink comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is charged by the system’s AC power supply. The battery make the SoundLink portable.

Bose SoundLink system will be released on 27 August 2009 for $549.95.

A guy over at DIY how-to website, Instructables, has created a USB Cigar flash memory that is designed “For cigar lovers, gadgeteers, spies, etc… and also for nonsmokers !”. The Cigar flash drive glows red when connected and brightens upon disk access.

Motorola launches the T215 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone. The T215 features noise and echo cancellation technology and a 2-watt speaker. It has a dedicated mute buttons. Motorola’s T215 supports Bluetooth 2.0 with headset (HSP) and Hands-free (HFP) profile and EasyPair. It measures 113mm(L)x60.7mm(W)x15.5mm(D) and weighs 88 grams.
