Sony Europe introduces the Walkman E440-Series “Video MP3 Player” PMP. The Walkman E440 is a slim media player with a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen. It features Clear Audio technology for detail-packed soundstage; Clear Stereo for reducing leakage between left and right channels and Clear Bass for providing powerful, controlled low-end frequencies without distortion.

This Video Walkman supports a range of music and video formats. It is equipped with FM tuner and a 5-band equalizer. The player offers up to 30 hours of music or 6 hours of video playback on a single charge.

Stone Group’s Rock introduces two new gaming notebooks, the Xtreme 790, replacing the Xtreme 780, and the Xtreme 840. Both laptops arw equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 280M graphics card with 1GB RAM, up to 6GB RAM, integrated Blu-ray drive and HDMI connector.

The Xtreme 790 is powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor and gets up to 1.5TB hard drive with RAID support. It has a 17-inch Full HD LCD display and offers an eSATA port. Rock’s Xtreme 840, instead, boasts Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processor, up to 1.5TB hard drive. It gets a 18.4-inch Full HD display. These notebooks start at GBP1999 and GBP1699 respectively.

There is a dual graphics version of the Xtreme 840, known as the Xtreme 840 SLI range, which is equipped with dual 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 graphics. It starts at GBP2299.

These notebooks all have WiFi 802.11b/g/n, a 7-in-1 card reader, four USB 2.0 ports and HDMI connector.

Samsung presents the SL720 (aka PL70) and SL502 (aka PL55) entry-level digital cameras. These cameras have 12.2 Megapixel image sensor and 5x optical zoom lens.

The Samsung SL720 features 28mm wide angle, a 3-inch LCD display, ability to record 720p HD video in H.264 format and optical and digital dual image stabilization. The SL502, instead, has a 35mm lens, a 2.7-inch display, and 640×480 video recording.

Active Media Products introduces the new SaberTooth SS and SaberTooth S lines of upgrade SSDs for Asus’s Eee PC netbook. Both series are compatible with Eee PC S101, 900, 900A, 901 and use SATA II Mini PCI-e interface.

The SaberTooth S is an entry-level and “cost effective” SSD upgrade for Eee PC offering 90MB/s read and 55MB/s write speeds. It is available in 16GB and 32GB capacities.

The SaberTooth SS, on the other hand, offers better performance with 155MB/s read and 100MB/s write speed. 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities are available.

eMachines, part of Acer family, introduces a new Atom-based all-in-one desktop PC, the “sleek and stylish” EZ1601-01 that is a model of the company’s EZ1600. The all-in-one is powered by Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and integrated GMA 950 graphics. It is equipped with a 160GB hard drive and a 8X DVD SuperMulti burner.

The eMachines EZ1601-01 has a 18.5-inch widescreen LCD display, a multi-in-one media card reader, built-in speakers and five USB 2.0 ports. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g wireless connectivity. It is priced at $399.99.

While Asus is planning the new T101H tablet, the company’s Eee PC T91 tablet netbook finally lands the US market. The 8.9-inch touchscreen netbook (T91SA-VU1X-BK) is now available from for US$499. The US model is powered by an Intel Atom Z520, 1GB RAM and a 16GB hard drive. It has a 8.9-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit touchscreen. There are WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 0.3 Meagpixel webcam.

You can now buy the Asus Eee PC T91 tablet from BigDig.com for $499.

Asus is going to launch the Eee PC T101H tablet netbook later this year. AsusTablet.com provides us the final specifications of the T101H that has been confirmed by Asus UK. The Eee PC T101H is the company’s second tablet netbook, after it’s brother T91.

Asus’s T101H will be boosted by an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, and 1GB RAM (max 2GB). It comes with a 16GB SSD for storage and supports SD/SDHC, MMC memory cards. There is a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit multi-touch LCD panel.

WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth are supported and GPS and 3G module are also available. You can also expect integrated digital TV tuner. The tablet is pre-loaded with Windows 7.
