iPad Keyboard Dock
Alongside the new iPad, Apple brings also some accessories for the tablet device. First of all, here comes the iPad Keyboard dock that combines a dock for charging your iPad with a full-size keyboard. There is also the iPad Dock. These docks have a rear 30-pin connector, which lets you connect to an electrical outlet using the USB Power Adapter, sync to your computer, and use accessories. They provide an audio jack.

Aerotel Medical Systems introduces the GeoSkeeper personal communicator with distress alarm and GPS location function, which is a “peace of mind” product designed for elderly, chronically ill, children or lone workers, as well as their relatives and caregivers.
The GeoSkeeper has built-in quad-band GSM/GPRS module and speakerphone allowing voice calls. It has active GPS receiver and offers geofencing feature for showing accurate location of users. When the wearer wanders outside a specified zone, the system sends a short message (SMS) alert to a monitoring center and to a relative or caregiver.

Google releases the Desktop Dock for the Nexus One Android phone. The dock is “an elegant place to charge your phone, on your desk or nightstand.” When you place the Nexus One in the Desktop Dock, the Clock app launches automatically for you to check local time and weather, set/clear alarms, watch photo sliders and play music. You can also dim your phone’s display for nighttime use.
The Desktop Dock comes with a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable for connecting the dock to stereo system. It is priced at $45 and is available at google.com/phone.

Garmin-Asus launches in Taiwan the new nuvifone M10 GPS-capable smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS. The M10 sports a Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
Garmin-Asus’ new GPS phone features a 3.5-inch 800×480 touchscreen display and 5 Megapixel cmaera. There is a microSD/SDHC card slot and a 1500mAh battery.

MSI adds two new notebook models, the CX705 and CX605 to its Classic Series. Both laptops are equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo processor and ATI’s Radeon HD5470 graphics card.
The CX705 gets 512MB video memory, a 17.3-inch 1600×900 LCD display while the CX605 has a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LCD screen and 1GB video RAM. They both have DDR2 memory, up to 500GB hard drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI output, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, and built-in speakers. Bluetooth and WiFi are both supported.
MSI’s new notebook both include the ECO Engine Power Saving Technology for extended battery life.

Japanese printer maker, Brother launches the SV-70 e-book reader, following the Bluetooth-enabled SV-100B. The mobile e-book reading device features a large 9.8-inch electronic paper display with 1280×825 resolution, 100MB onboard memory and a microSD card slot. It supports 128Bit AES encryption.
Brother’s SV-70 has built-in lithium-ion battery for up to 83 hours of use. It has USB port for charging and connecting PC. The new e-reader will be released on 20 February for 99,980 Yen.
