Nikon introduces its new CoolPix S610 and S610c compact digital cameras. Both of them offer elegant design and quality construction.

The CoolPix S610 features a 10 Megapixel sensor, a 4x Zoom-NIKKOR wide-angle lens, Optical VR Image Stabilization, ISO up to 3200 and a 3-inch large LCD screen.

The CoolPix S610c shares the same factor with the S610. It is Nikon’s fifth generation WiFi camera, replacing the S52c. S610c is a 10 Megapixel camera with a 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR wide-angle, ISO 3200,  Optical VR Image Stabilization and 3-inch LCD display. With the integrated WiFi, users of S610c can upload and store their pictures on Nikon’s my Picturetown services. It is the first WiFi camera to utilize the Wi-Fi Protected Set-up (WPS), making it easier than ever to send and store images and videos via Wi-Fi.

Basically, except WiFi and the lens, two new cameras are the same. They have the world’s fastest start-up time at a mere 0.7 second and both support SD/SDHC memory cards.

The CoolPix S610c will be available in September in Midnight Black for MSRP of $329.95 while the S610 will come in Midnight Black, Deep Red and Smoke Gray and cost  $279.95.

BenQ’s Aries 2 MID has won the Bronze Award in the Interactive Product Experiences at at the 2008 Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA) recently. It is said that the Taiwanese company is going to launch the device in Europe this quarter.

The above picture is the latest picture of BenQ Aries 2 MID. It looks stylish and attractive. It will come with a G-Sensor for ’shake’ interface. As revealed before, the Aries 2 MID is powered by an Intel Silverthorone 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB SSD. It supports HSDPA, WiFi 802.11b/g as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

LG launches in Korea market its HS102G, a palm size LED projector. LG HS102G features 160 ANSI lumens brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 30,000 hours of LED life and integrated 1.2-watt speaker. It offers a short throw distance of 1.1M. It has a high-glossy black finish with a red touch button. It weighs only 780g.

LG HS102G is priced at 790,000 Korean Won.

Nikon presents the new CoolPix S710 compact camera that comes with advanced features like Program, Aperture, Manual and Shutter priority modes, which can be found on SLR or Prosumer cameras.

Nikon CoolPix S710 is a 14.5 Megapixel camera with a 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR wide-angle glass lens, ISO sensitivity up to 12,8000, Optical VR Image Stabilization, Nikon’s EXPEED image processing, and a 3-inch LCD display.

This new S710 comes with the Nikon In-Camera Innovations that can also be found in other new Nikon cameras like the P6000 and S560.

CoolPix S710 will be available in Graphite Black, Deep Red, and Brilliant Silver. It will be released in September for $379.95.

Asus officially introduces the Eee Stick, the Wiimote-like remote control for PC, for gamers. The Eee Stick package includes an Activation stick, a Navigation stick and a 2.4GHz RF USB dongle. With two AA batteries per stick, you can enjoy up to 72 hours of gaming.

The 2.4GHz RF dongle has a long broadcast range of 10m and both the Activation stick and navigation stick are Vibration-capable.

Nikon announced the new CoolPix S560 stylish compact digital camera. The CoolPix S560 features 10 Megapixel image sensor, a 5x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, ISO 3200, Optical VR Image Stabilization and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

It offers also Face-Priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix and D-Lighting. S560 accepts SD and SDHC memory cards in addition to 44MB internal memory. It will be available in three colors, Graphite Black, Cool Blue and Cherry Blossom. Available in September, the camera is priced at a MSRP of $249.95.

Here is another T700 from Sony. To be exact, its the T700 mobile phone from Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson T700 is a slim, shiny elegant candy-bar mobile phone.

This slim T700 comes with a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom, video recording capability, photo light, video light and support for PictBridge printing. It features a 2-inch TFT LCD display, Bluetooth, integrated media player, support for Geo-tagging, 25MB internal memory and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card.

Sony Ericsson T700 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 UMTS/HSDPA 2100 networks. It will be available in Q4 in Black on Silver, Black on Red and Shining Silver.

Sony introduces two new Cyber-shot compact digital cameras, the Cyber-shot DSC-T700 and DSC-T77. Both of them comes with the “intelligent” shooting functions.

The Cyber-shot DSC-T77, the successor of the Cyber-shot T70, is probably the world’s thinnest digital camera with a thickness of 13.9mm. It has a 10 Megapixel Super HAD CCD image sensor, a 4x  Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens, ISO sensitivity up to 3200, and a 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD screen.

Basically the DSC-T700 offers the same features as the T77, but it has 4GB internal memory for you to store up to 1,000 full-resolution images. It gets also a larger 3.5-inch LCD display. The T77 has only 15MB memory. They both support Memory Stick media cards.
