LG introduces its FLATRON P Series of cloud monitors, which are basically VMware-based Zero Client monitors that can be networked to create a virtual computing system. The 19-inch N1910LZ, 22-inch N2210WZ and 23-inch N2311AZ all utilizes a Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP) Chipset and VMware to deliver secure virtual computing systems. The P series is server-based Zero Client, which means software is managed from a centralized network and there’s reduced risk of viruses, spyware and hacking, and users are always using the latest OS and software installed on the host. These Cloud Monitors are fully compatible with VMware View Virtual Desktop Environment. Each of them has 128MB memory and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.

Amped Wireless introduces the R20000G, its new flagship long-range high power wireless-n Gigabit dual-band router. The router is powered by a 620MHz internal processor for faster networking and it supports simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz dual band 802.11n technology for enhanced network performance. The R20000G sports dual high power 2.4Ghz 600mW amplifiers, dual high power 5.0GHz amplifiers and dual low noise amplifiers for improving wireless reception. It also comes with dual high gain 5dBi detachable dual band antennas. According to the company, the router is able to brings simultaneous dual band WiFi connection to home and office users of up to 10,000 square feet of coverage or a quarter of an acre.

Following Netgear’s R6300, Buffalo also announced its 802.11ac wireless router, the AirStation WZR-D1800H that is also based on Broadcom’s 5G WiFi chips. With support for 802.11ac, the router, according to Buffalo offers speeds up to three times faster than 802.11n, while maintaining backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z All-in-One PCs

In addition to the tiny ThinkCentre M92p, Lenovo is also bringing business users the ThinkCentre M92z all-in-one desktop PCs. The new M92z series will be available in 20-inch and 23-inch models. It is powered by up to Intel Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core i7 processor, and can be equipped with up to 1TB hard drive or optional SSD.

The 23-inch M92z all-in-one, like the ThinkVision LT2323z monitor, is Microsoft Lync qualified. Built for business collaboration, it comes with a 23-inch IPS LED-backlit display with 178-degree wide viewing angle, and a built-in HD webcam for VoIP communications. A anti-glare feature with multi-touch capability is available as option. The M92z also includes Dolby Advanced sound enhancement and built-in WiFi connectivity.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z starts at $799. It will be available in June.

SMK-Link Gyration Air Mouse Mobile

Gyration, now part of SMK-Link, launched the new Gyration Air Mouse Mobile in the UK. Intended to the a mouse for all occasions – mobile laptop computing, desktop use, presentation controller, home entertainment remote control, the new Air Mouse features a rugged, compact design and gyroscopic gesture control. It uses 2.4GHz RF wireless with a 30 meter operation range.

The Air Mouse Mobile is a motion-based mouse that works in the air, like its little brother Air Mouse Elite. Thanks to the gyroscopic gesture control, users can move the mouse cursor with in-air gestures. It can be a handheld remote control for presentations, and an in-air mouse remote for web-streamed home entertainment services such as Netflix, FilmFlex and YouTube. The mouse comes with MotionTools software to activate media shortcuts and visual effects for PowerPoint, Keynote, Netflix and browsers. It also comes with a USB receiver that doubles as a dock.
