Acer launches the Apsire One D250-1042 and Aspire One 751h-1192 netbooks in the US market. The latter is the industry’s first 11.6-inch netbook. The D250-1042 is powered by Intel’s Atom Z520 1.22GHz processor while the 751h-1192 is boosted by an Atom N270 1.6GHz processor. They both get 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive.

Samsung “officially” launches its N110 and N120 mini notebook in the US market. The White N120 and Black N110 is almost identical. They are both powered by Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and built-in graphics. Toshiba Europe announced the NB200 mini notebook which is basically the Europe version of its dynabook UX.  As the succesor of the NB100, NB200 is equipped wit heither an Atom N270 1.6GHz or N280 1.66GHz processr and 945GSE graphics chipset. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit LCD display.

Toshiba announced in Japan its new dynabook UX notebook PC based on Intel Atom, like the company’s NB100 netbook. The dynabook UX is powered by an Atom N280 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, GMA950 integrated graphics and a 160GB hard drive.

Packard Bell, Acer’s subsidiary, introduces two new netbooks in Europe market, the DOT S and the DOT M. Basically, the DOT S is based on Acer’s Aspire One D250 while the DOT M is based on the new 11.6-inch Aspire One. That means both of them are powered by Atom processor and have a 10.1-inch and 11.6-inch LCD screen respectively.
