Toshiba presents the HD-EP10 HD DVD player for the Europe marker. The Toshiba HD-EP10 supports 1080p and features DTS-HD, Dolby-HD, Dobly Digital, Dolby Digital Plus audio output and HDMI output. It can read HD DVD, DVD, DVD-R/RW and CDs.

Panasonic unveiled its Prototype 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV at the 2007 CES. The 42-inch 1080p Plasma “can deliver more than two million pixels (1,920 x 1,080), more than twice the pixel count of a 42-inch HD PDP (1,024 x 768)”.

BenQ adds W9000 to its projector line-up. The W9000 features native 1920 x 1080 high resolution, Advanced Continuous Electronic IRIS bringing the contrast ratio to a high 8,500 and itis compatible with the Panamorph lens which converts 16:9 projectors to a full 2.35:1 aspect ratio.. The device has HDMI interface which allows you to connect to your HD-DVD players, Blu-ray players and gaming consoles. No info on availability.
