Japanese mobile carrier KDDI au introduces the new REGZA Phone IS04 by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications, the first Android smartphone to have 12 Megapixel camera. The phone is IPX5/IPX7 certified for waterproof. Personally, I think the IS04 looks like a curve-less Sony Erisson X10, probably due to the three silver buttons.

Nokia shows us main features of its latest flagship N8 smartphone in three walkthrough videos. In this three-part N8 overview, Nokia shows basic features of the Symbian^3 system, photo features and music player as well as HDMI output of the phone.

Nokia officially announced its latest Nseries smartphone, the N8 running the Symbian^3 OS. As the first Symbian^3-based phone, the N8 is powered by an ARM11 680 MHz processor with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenGL-ES 2.0 support. It gets a 3.5-inch 360×640 OLED capacitive touchscreen and a 12 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash.
