Sony is launching in the US market its VAIO Z Series ultra portable notebook, which is the world’s lightest 13-inch notebook to get standard voltage CPU. The lightweight VAIO Z has a sleek 0.66-inch, 2.5-pound aluminum and carbon fiber chassis. One of the main features of the new VAIO is its Power Media Dock system. When paired with the supplied dock, the Z Series transforms into the ultimate workstation and can even support up to four full HD displays (including the system LCD).

MSI launches in the US the new X-Slim X370 notebook powered by AMD’s Fusion Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). The 13.4-inch X370 is boosted by AMD’s E-350 dual core APU with 4GB of DDR3 memory and AMD Radeon HD6310 discrete-class graphics. The notebook measures 0.9-inch thick and weighs 3.11lbs.
