HP introduces its new ENVY Spectre XT super-slim Ultrabook with an all-metal design, which is built on the success of the ENVY Spectre. Crafted for mobility, HP’s premium Ultrabook measures 14.5mm thin and weighs 3.07 pounds. It is powered by Intel’s latest 3rd generation (Ivy Bridge) Core processor and will be equipped with 128GB or 256GB mSATA for enhanced performance. The slim laptop includes HP CoolSense technology that automatically adjusts performance and internal fan settings for a noticeably cooler PC.

Lenovo launches its new IdeaPad U300e Ultrabook with a more affordable price tag. The new ultraportable laptop is powered by Intel’s Core i5-2467M Sandy Bridge 1.6GHz processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. The U300e weighs less than 1.32kg/3lbs and is just 14mm thick and features minimalist deisgn with full aluminum shell.

Dell announced at the CES 2012 its all-new XPS 13 Ultrabook, a 13.3-inch ultra slim laptop with an edge-to-edge, display. Thanks to the near-frameless display and slim bezel, Dell packs a 13.3-inch screen in similar size of an 11-inch product. The super-thin notebook measures less than a quarter-inch at its thinnest point, and weighs just 1.36kg. It features a precision machined aluminum lid and a carbon fiber composite base

HP announced the Folio 13, its first business Ultrabook with a thin and light design. According to HP, the new laptop offers up to 9 hours of battery life, the highest performance available among Ultrabook devices currently on the market. The 13.3-inch Ultrabook measures just 18mm thin and weighs only 3.3 pounds.

Dell brings to small business customers its new Vostro V131 portable powerhouse engineered to maximize business productivity. The 13.3-inch notebook is powered by choice of Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3/i5 processor. It packs up to a 320GB hard drive.

Fujitsu launches in the US market its LifeBook T901 series tablet PC powered by Intel’s 2nd generation Core i5 (Sandy Bridge) processor. Two models are offered, one with active digitizer pen input and the other with dual digitizer supporting both pen input and finger multitouch.

Along with the new ThinkCentre Edge 91z AIO, Lenovo brings the ThinkPad X1 business laptop for mobile professionals who demand the best in performance, mobility and entertainment. The X1, replacing the ThinkPad X301, is the thinnest ThinkPad laptop, measuing less than 17 mm and weighs 3.7 pounds.

HP adds to its business-oriented ProBook line the new 5330m “designed for savvy business professionals who value style, performance and affordability”. The 13.3-inch notebook is less than 1-inch thick and weighs 3.9 pounds.

Asus introduces a new thin and light 13.3-inch notebook, the U31SD powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge second generation Core i3/i5 processor. The slim notebook has an elegant design and measures under 1-inch thick. It is powered by the Core i3-2310M or Core i5-2410M CPU with integrated Intel GMA HD graphics or optional NVIDIA GeForce GT520M with 1GB video memory.

Along with the Tecra R840 and Tecra R850, Toshiba introduces also the new Portege R830 series ultraportable notebook, which is built on the Portege R700. As the latest addition to the Portege family, the R830 continues to be the world’s lightest 13.3-inch full-performance ultraportable laptop featuring an integrated DVD drive.
