Sony is going to launch in the US the new VAIO NW notebook PC that comes with built-in Blu-ray drive and starts at just US$880. The VAIO NW is boosted by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor up to 2.1GHz, 4GB RAM, 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics and up to 400GB hard drive.

Asus announced the detail specifications of its U and UX series notebooks, which has been introduces at the Cebit 2009. There are five models in the U series, including 12.1-inch U20A, 14-inch U80V, 15.6-inch U50G, 14-inch U81A and 15.6-inch U51Vg. On the other hand, two models are introduced for the slimmer UX series, the 15.5-inch UX50V and 13.3-inch UX30.
