Other than the DVR 790HD 3D camcorder, Vivitar also releases the ViviCam T135 3D digital camera with dual lenses. The camera has 12.1 Megapixel image sensor, 5x digital zoom and anti-shake functionality. The T135 records 1280x720p HD video.

Panasonic introduces its first true 3D digital camera, the LUMIX DMC-3D1 with two newly-developed lens units with folded optics design. With a compact body, the camera sports a twin-lens design, featuring 25mm wide angle lenses with 4x optical zoom, to capture 3D and 2D photos and videos.

DXG announced its DXG-018, a pocket 3D camera for users to create 3D content. The dual-lens 3D camera is equipped with 0.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor for capuring up to 1.3 Megapixel (via interpolation) side by side 3D images. It comes with a 1.44-inch LCD display. In order to view captured images in 3D, users have to print the picture from any printer using standard 4 x 6 photo paper, and then use the included 3D viewer.

Olympus SZ-30MR

Following the 18x zoom SZ-10, Olympus has just announced in Europe market two more ultra zoom digital camera, including the new SZ-30MR.  It is the first camera ever to offer simultaneous recording of 1080p Full HD movies and 16 Megapixel still photos, thanks to Olympus’ Multi Recording technology with Dual Engine TruePic III+ image processor.

Sony is going to release the new Cyber-shot DSC-TX100V, the first compact digital camera with Full HD 1920×1080/60p video recording. The TX100V is also one of the first compact DC to include 3D Still Image mode for taking 3D images using only one lens and imager.

Rollei announced its Powerflex 3D, a compact twin-lens 3D digital camera. The point-and-shoot 3D camera can capture 5 Megapixrl still images and 1280×720 HD videos at 30fps. It features a 2.8-inch LCD display and the Parallax barrier display technology, allowing users to see 3D images without 3D glasses.

Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy announced the 3D Shot Cam, a simple 3D toy camera for children aged 12 or above. The camera comes with a special viewer to see images with the camera in 3D. The 3D Shot Cam has a 0.3 Megapixel sensor, two lenses and a SD car slot. Two special 3D viewers are included.

FujiFilm announced the new FinePix REAL 3D W3 3D digital camera, the successor to the W1, which is the world’s first 3D camera that can capture HD 3D movies. Thanks to the new RP (Real Photo) Processor, the W3 comes with the ability to shoot high-resolution 3D photos and movies in 3D HD at 720p.

Sony Cyber-Shot TX9

Sony announced in Europe two new digital cameras, the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX5 and Cyber-Shot DSC-TX9 both with 1080i Full HD movie recording and the 3D Sweep Panorama function that “lets you shoot incredible 3D images without needing a bulky, complex double-lens camera system.”
