Sony is going to release two new compact digital cameras, the Cyber-Shot DSC-WX10 and DSC-WX9, both with 1920×1080/60i Full HD video recording capability. They are equipped with 16.2 Megapixel Back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS Image Sensor and offers 3D still image capturing and 3D Sweep Panorama.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TS3 Rugged Digital Camera blue

Panasonic has announced the new LUMIX DMC-TS3 (aka LUMIX DMC-FT3) rugged digital camera as the successor to the LUMIX DMC-TS2/FT2. As a rugged device, the TS2 is tougher than the TS2, and is waterproof to approximately 40 feet (12m); shockproof to approximately 6.6 feet (2m); freezeproof to 14ºF (-10 degrees C); and dustproof. It also comes with new outdoor-friendly features, such as a built-in GPS function, a compass, altimeter and barometer.

The compact camera, successor to the ZS7, also feature Full HD 1920×1080 video recording in AVCHD format and comes with built-in GPS for geotagging images to be pinpointed via online maps. It is capable of High-speed Consecutive Shooting at 10fps.
