Epson introduces the new PowerLite X15 projector, which is the sucessor to the PowerLite 92. Designed to deliver bright images to small- and medium-sized classrooms and conference rooms, the X15 features XGA 1024×768 resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 3000 lumens brightness. It uses Epson’s 3LCD display technology and is equipped with E-TORL 200 W UHE with a lamp life of up to 5000 hours.

Epson launches a new home theater projector, the PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD with an affordable price. The new projector has a sleek and compact design and comes in white. It uses Epson’s 3LCD 3-chip technology and delivers 1280x720p resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 2800 lumens of color and white light output. The projector is easy to set-up – just place it in an entertainment center or mount to the ceiling 3.5 to 35.5 feet from the wall or screen.

Panasonic introduces its new PT-LZ370U professional fixed installation projector designed to provide high definition projector for presentations and applications that demand high color fidelity and fine detail reproduction. Epson adds to its PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line five new models, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. These installation projectors are based on 3LCD, 3-chip technology and are designed for corporate, higher education, house of worship, rental and staging, museum, and digital signage applications. They all feature Edge Blending function that allows for consistent and smooth brightness and color when using more than one PowerLite Pro Z model side by side for staging, art galleries, digital signage, video walls, or command centers.

Christie is now shipping two new 3LCD projectors, the LX1200 with 12,000 lumens brightness and the Full HD 1080p LHD700. Both models are based on 3LCD display technology and are equipped with inorganic LCD panels to create a natural black and smoothest imaging.

Epson announced the VS410 and VS350W high-brightness, low-cost projectors for small businesses. Both of them are equipped with E-TORL lamp technology which enables the lamp life to last up to 4,000 hours in economy mode and built-in 5W speakers.

Epson announced two new affordable projectors, the PowerLite 1880 and PowerLite 1850W, for corporate and higher education.  The former has XGA resolution and 4000 lumens brightness while the latter delivers WXGA widescreen resolution and 3700 lumens. Both of them offer 1.6x optical zoom allowing for larger images from shorter throw distances and eliminates dead spaces.

Epson announced two new portable projectors, the PowerLite 1221 and PowerLite 1261W, for small and medium-sized business. Based on 3-chip 3LCD display technology, the former features XGA resolution while the latter has widescreen WXGA resolution. They offer 2800 lumens brightness and use the E-TORL lamp technology, extending lamp life to up to 5,000 hours.

Along with the Pro9500, ViewSonic brings the new PJL6243 and PJL6233 LCD projectors for education market. Based on 3LCD display technology, the PJL6243 and PJL6233 both feature 1024×768 resolution and offer 3000 ANSI lumens and 2600 ANSI lumens brightness, respectively. They include the 3LCD True Color Technology to deliver accurate color and true to life images and are equipped with a 1.2 optical zoom lens and a 1W integrated speaker.
