Italian website HDBlog did a 9 minute preview on the newly announced HTC Sensation Android smartphone. In the video, the Sensation was compared to the Nexus One. The clip also shows the new HTC Sense 3.0 UI, performance and responsiveness of this dual-core Android phone, video playback, Flash playback as well as Internet browsing experience. HTC has announced its long-rumored dual-core Android smartphone, the Sensation which is previous known as the HTC Pyramid. The Sensation, spec-wise, is quite similar to the EVO 3D and includes some improvements. Like the EVO 3D, the Sensation is boosted by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense. However it gets only 768MB of RAM and 1GB internal storage, compare to 1GB RAM and 4GB storage on the EVO 3D.

At the launch event of Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 (WP7) platform, HTC brings five new WP7-running smartphones, including HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Pro and HTC HD7. The HD7 is the flagship model and is basically the WP7 version of the HTC HD2.

HTC finally introduces the Desire HD Android phone (codenamed HTC Ace), bringing the large 4.3-inch screen to people outside the US, who can’t get the Sprint HTC EVO 4G. The new phone comes without support for WiMAX, but only support for HSPA/WCDMA 900/2100 MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. The Desire HD has no QWERTY keyboard, unlike its brother Desire Z.

Over at Hong Kong Uwants forum, a guy has posted a image showing the upcoming HTC Desire HD (HTC Ace) with the Android 2.2 Froyo. As you can see, the new Desire HD is basically the WCDMA/HSPA version of the HTC EVO 4G getting the same 4.3-inch large WVGA touchscreen. Sprint and HTC have jointly announced the HTC EVO 4G, the world’s first and HTC’s first 3G/4G Android mobile phone. The EVO 4G is basically the Android version of the HTC HD2 and adds support for WiMAX high-speed network. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor (the CDMA version of the QSD8250 SnapDragon found in HD2, HTC Desire, Nexus One, Toshiba TG02..etc).
