Toshiba 2.5-inch 43nm MLC 512GB SSD

Toshiba announced the industry’s first 2.5-inch SATA II 512GB SSD, which will be showcased at the CES 2009. The new 512GB SSD is based on 43 nanometer (nm) Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND technology and utilize an advanced MLC controller offering higer read and write speeds.

The new 2.5-inch 43nm MLC-based SSD, including the 512GB one, has a maximum sequential read speed of 240MB per second (MBps) and maximum sequential write speed of 200MBps.
