Pioneer announced its new VSX-1021 7.1-channel home theater receiver that comes with support for Apple’s AirPlay for wireless music streaming. Thanks to AirPlay, once the receiver is connected to a home network via Ethernet or WiFi (adapter needed), it can stream music from iTunes on Mac or PC, giving music lovers complete access, control, and playback of their entire iTunes music library with incredible sound quality.

Sony STR-DA5500ES Elevated Standard Receiver

Sony adds to its flagship ES (Elevated Standard) range two new AV receivers, the STR-DA5500ES and STR-DA3500ES, replacing the DA5400 and DA3400. Both devices come with HD Digital Cinema Sound capability and supports all the current high-definition video and audio formats on Blu-ray Disc, including 1080/24p, x.v.
