Softbank will release in late August the NEC 931N slider mobile phone that comes with WiFi connectivity. The NEC 931N has a 3.2-inch large 854×480 swivel LCD display and a 8.1 Megapixel camera. There is also a 0.33 Megapixel secondary camera for video calls.

LG officially announced its Viewty Smart (aka LG GC900, LG Viewty II) touchscreen PDA mobile phone with LG’s 3D S-Class User Interface. As the successor of the Viewty, the Viewty Smart has a 3-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel camera, A-GPS with geotagging function, and WiFi.

Previously at LG Germany’s official blog, the company shows the GC900 Veiwty II touchscreen phone (known also as the Smart). The Viewty II features a 3-inch touchscreen display and a 8 Megapixel camera that can record 720×480 video.

Samsung made its previously rumored SCH-W740 touchscreen mobile phone official. The 8 Megapixel phone is also known as Haptic8M in Korea.
