HP EliteBook 2760p

HP introduces two new EliteBook PCs, the 2560p notebook and the 2760p tablet PC, both available in a stylish platinum color with modern design and precision engineering. These EliteBook models are powered by second generation Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5/i7 dual-core processors. The 2560p has a thin, clamshell design with 12.5-inch LED display while the 2760p offers flexibility of a writing tablet with a 12.1-inch touchscreen for pen use or finger touch.

Alongside the HP Z210 series desktop workstations, HP brings three new mobile workstations – EliteBook 8760w, 8560w and 8460w. The new EliteBook w-series are built on HP’s FORGE design framework, offering “a timeless construction, with precision-engineered durability features that are designed for maximum reliability and with the environment in mind”.

HP announced two new EliteBook notebooks, the EliteBook 2740p multitouch tablet PC and the EliteBook 2540p ultraportable. These new laptops are rugged meeting the MIL-STD 810G military-standard tests for vibration, dust, humidity, altitude, and high and low temperatures.

HP EliteBook 8440

HP releases the EliteBook 8440 series and 8540 series notebook PCs.Both of them are boosted by Intel’s Core i7 or Core i5 processor and have up to 8GB/16 of RAM. The 8540w and 8440w are workstation models equipped with NVIDIAQuadro FX 380M graphics with 512MB VDDR3 memory, while the 8440p comes with NVDIA 3100 graphics and 8540p has NVIDIA 5100 graphics.

Other than the 2730p HP is also announcing the EliteBook 2530p business notebook PC, which is to replace the 2510p.

Like the 2730p, this EliteBook 2530p is powered by Core 2 Duo ULV 1.2GHz or Core 2 Duo LV 1.83GHz, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, up to 160GB hard drive or 80GB SSDand the integrated GMA 4500 HD video card.

It comes with a 12.1-inch LCD 1280×800 display, SATA DVD+/-RW writer, SD card slot, Bluetooth and WiFi. You can get also the optional EVDO/HSPA mobile network module.

HP introduces the new EliteBook 2730p tablet PC for business users. The 2730p is the successor of the 2710p. It is powered by either an Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage 1.2GHz or Core 2 Duo Low Voltage 1.83GHz processor, up to 4GB of RAM, 80GB or 120GB hard drive and Intel’s GMA X4500 HD graphics.

The 2730p tablet has a 12-inch touch screen display with 1280×800 resolution, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/draft-n, a SD card slot, and Bluetooth. Buyers may want to get 80GB SSD instead of hard drive and they can get the optional EVDO/HSPA mobile broadband module, and optional 2 Megapixel webcam.
