JVC is going to release two more full HD camcorders, the GZ-HM450 and GZ-HM440 with a more affordable price. The former has 32GB internal flash memory and a single SDXC card slot while the HM440 has no internal storage but two SDXC slots. They are equipped with a 1.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor to crecord Full HD video and a KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with 40x optical zoom.

Along with the flagship GZ-HM960 and GZ-HM860, JVC is launching three new mid-range HD Everio Full HD camcorders – GZ-HM690, GZ-HM690 and GZ-HM690 with 64GB, 32GB and 8GB internal flash memory, respectively. These camcorders are capable of 1920×1080 Full HD 24Mbps High bit rate Recording in AVCHD format.

JVC brings a new hard disk drive-based Full HD camcorder, the HD Everio GZ-HD520 with 120GB HDD that is enough for storing up to 50 hours of Full HD video recording. The HD20 features KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS lens with 40x optical zoom in HD and 70x dynamic zoom in SD, and a 1.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor. It records 1920x1080p Full HD video with 24Mbps high bit rate in AVCHD format

Other than the dual lens GS-TD1 Full HD 3D camcorder, JVC also introduces the HD Everio GZ-HM960 Full HD digital camcorder with on-the-fly 2D-to-3D conversion function for 3D viewing on the camcorder’s LCD screen without wearing 3D glasses, or any compatible TV.

JVC introduces at the CES 2011 the GS-TD1, the world’s first consumer camcorder to offer 3D recording in Full HD. It has two 3.32 Megapixel CMOS sensors and two 3D Twin HD GT lenses to capture 3D images much the same way that human eyes work. The camcorder is equipped with JVC’s new high-speed imaging engine that can simultaneously processe the two Full HD images – left and right images at 1920 x 1080i – within that single chip.

Samsung announced the new HMX-T10, a Full HD camcorder with an innovative 20-degree Slanted Lens that “ensures that the user can truly enjoy their recording experience without any discomfort to their arm or wrist, a common occurrence in standard camcorders currently on the market.” In fact, this is not Samsung’s first slanted lens camcorder. The Korea company has released the HMX-R10 last year that has a 25-degree slanted lens.
