LG is launching soon in Korea the new Optimus LTE2 (LG-F160S) Android smartphone. What the phone selling is its massive 2GB of RAM, the amount we can’t find on any other smartphones on the market. The LTE2 will have a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen LCD display with 1280×720 HD resolution. It is equipped with a 2150mAh battery to provide 40% longer battery life than the Optimus LTE.

LG FLATRON N2311AZ

LG introduces its FLATRON P Series of cloud monitors, which are basically VMware-based Zero Client monitors that can be networked to create a virtual computing system. The 19-inch N1910LZ, 22-inch N2210WZ and 23-inch N2311AZ all utilizes a Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP) Chipset and VMware to deliver secure virtual computing systems. The P series is server-based Zero Client, which means software is managed from a centralized network and there’s reduced risk of viruses, spyware and hacking, and users are always using the latest OS and software installed on the host. These Cloud Monitors are fully compatible with VMware View Virtual Desktop Environment. Each of them has 128MB memory and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.

LG introduces a new line of LCD monitors, the IPS4 series featuring the In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel for wide viewing angle of 178-degree and “superb color reproduction and exceptional picture quality.” These new IPS monitors also feature Smooth Color Change to eliminate blur generated from rapid motion in action scenes, sports or video games, and the Dual Smart Solution feature that allows users to run dual monitors with a simple one-click set-up.

Sprint is launching the new LG Optimus Elite entry-level smartphone that is eco-friendly. The device is ULE Platinum Certified for highest level of environmental performance, and is also CarbonFree certified to offset the carbon footprint of the phone’s full lifecycle. It also eliminated the use of many environmentally sensitive materials, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), brominated flame retardants (BFR), halogen, beryllium, phthalates, and nickel, and comes in fully recyclable packaging.

LG launches in India its HW300G portable projector based on DLP display technology. Compare to its brother HW300T, the HW300G lacks built-in ATSC digital TV tuner and DLAN and has a lower contrast ratio at 1000:1, though it has a higher 300:1 brightness. The ultra portable projector delivers 1280×800 WXGA resolution. Its LED light source has up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.

Sprint LG Rumor Reflex

Sprint is launching the new LG Rumor Reflex, a sleek messaging phone with QWERTY keyboard which is the successor to the LG Rumor Touch. The new handset is an eco-friendly device. Its outer cover is made from 32% post-consumer recycled materials and is CarbonFree certified offset the carbon footprint of the phone’s full lifecycle. It has the ULE Platinum Certification, the highest level of environmental performance recognized by sustainable requirements established by UL Environment (ULE) and Sprint.

If you look at LG’s line-up for the MWC 2012, each phone has its own selling point, 3D, NFC, and quad-core. What LG’s Optimus Vu is selling is probably its large 5-inch display that comes in 4:3 aspect ratio, unlike most touchscreen smartphones. The 4:3 5-inch display offers a tablet-like viewing, making makes viewing documents, books, internet and multimedia contents easier and more comfortable. The screen is based on IPS LCD and has 1024×768 resolution.

Ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, LG introduces the world’s first quad-core smartphone – the Optimus 4X HD. The powerful smartphone is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor featuring the unique 4-PLUS-1 design for high-level multimedia performance that utilizes a fifth batterysaver core to handle less demanding tasks such as active standby and music playback. The Tegra 3 is also equipped with a 12-core GPU to deliver rich gaming experience. The phone has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory.

While the Optimus 3D Cube is for Korea only, LG has actually prepared the Optimus 3D MAX for international release. The 3D MAX is basically a variant of the 3D Cube with more or less the same features and specs. It sports the same dual 5 Megapixel cameras for capturing 3D images, and NFC support with LG Tag+. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage, unlike its brother 3D Cube with 16GB.
