Canon PowerShot SD870 IS is the little brother of the SD950 camera. It features a 8 Megapixel CCD sensor, 3.8x wide-angle optical zoom with with optical image stabilization and 4x digital zoom, an ISO rating up to 1600 and a 3-inch LCD display.
The Canon PowerShot SD870 IS, of course, comes with Canon’s DIGIC III image processor and it can record 640×480 videos at 30fps. It measures 92.6 x 58.8 x 25.9mm and weights 155g. It will be priced at $399.99.

Canon announced the new PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH digital camera which is the US version of the IXY Digital 10. The PowerShot SD1000 has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor and 3x optical zoom. Other features include a 2.5-inch LCD screen, ISO up to 1600, Face Catch Technology, PictBridge support and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC.
The Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH camera measures 85.9 x 53.5 x 19.4mm and weights 125g. It will be available in Mid March.

The PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor, 3x optical zoom, ISO up to 1600, Face Catch Technology, PictBridge support and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC. It has also a 3-inch LCD display.
The PowerShot SD750 measures 91.6 x 56.8 x 19.6mm and weights 130g. It will be available in Mid March.
