Sony announced in Europe two new digital photo frames with WiFi connectivity, the S-Frame DPF-W700 and SF-Frame DPF-WA700. Both models have 8-inch 800×480 WVGA LED-backlit touchscreen display, 1GB internal memory that is enough for 4000 photos. With WiFi support, the frames can get photos from email or your friends’ Facebook uploads, and access hotos stored on your PC wirelessly. They can also display weather forecasts from AccuWeather.

Sony S-Frame Gift Series DPF-C1000

Sony introduces in Europe the S-Frame Gift series digital photo frames, the 10.1-inch DPF-C1000, 8-inch C800 and 7-inch C700, C70A and C70E. All these frames supports Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards. They feature an energy-saving timer, and offer a choice of four slideshow patterns plus a choice of attractive clock and calendar displays.

Sony S-Frame DPF-HD1000

Sony expands its S-Frame line with the new HD Series frames that not only shows images but also include Full HD 1920×1080/60p video playback capability. The HD Series includes 10-inch DPF-HD1000, 8-inch DPF-HD800 and 7-inch DPF-HD700. All of the have LED-backlit LCD display. The 10-inch model has WSVGA resolution while the other two models have WVGA screen. AVCHD and MP4 video formats are supported.

Sony S-Frame DPF-E710

Sony, other than the flagship XR100 and VR100, introduces eleven new S-Frame digital photo frames ranging from 7-inch to 10-inch. All these S-Frames, except DPF-E710, have illuminated Sony logo on the panel bezel that will disappears automatically when frame is positioned vertically in portrait position.

Sony announced at the CES 2009 four new digital photo frames, PF-X1000, DPF-V1000, DPF-D92 and DPF-D82.

Sony’s DPF-X1000 is a top-end model with a 10-inch super clear LCD with the TruBlack technology for minimum reflection and more contrast. DPF-V1000 is another 10-inch model. Both X1000 and V1000 have alarm clock, auto dimmer and a variety of slide-show features. The DPF-X1000 comes with 2GB internal memory while the DPF-V1000 has 1GB. They can be connected to Sony’s BRAVIA HDTVs via HDMI.
