Acer Liquid Metal Android Smartphone

Acer officially introduces in the UK the Liquid Metal, its latest Android smartphone. Powered by the new SnapDragon 7230 800MHz processor like the T-Mobile G2, the Liquid Metal runs Android 2.2 OS. Looks a bit like its predecessor, the Liquid and Liquid e, this Metal phone has a more curvy design and gets solid and resistant steel casing with a chrome trim.

Other than the neoTouch, Acer introduces the Liquid, (aka Acer A1), the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor based Android phone and the the first to have Android 1.6 Donut OS. The phone is not is the first SnapDragon smartphone as we’ve seen HTC HD2, Acer neoTouch and Toshiba TG01, but it’s the first Android phone to get Snapdragon.
