Altec Lansing launches its new inAir 5000 (model MA5000) wireless AirPlay speaker that allows users to stream music from computers running iTunes, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad to stream music wirelessly over the home WiFi network to any room in the house. Using the free Altec Lansing inAir Guide app from the App Store, users can setup the wireless speaker easily and quickly to enjoy music.

Altec Lansing introduces the LIVE 5000 (model MN5000) WiFi music system designed for users to enjoy and control cloud content and their personal music libraries from a wide range of devices. With support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n wireless network, the LIVE 5000 connects to user’s existing home Wi-Fi network and streams music from local source or Internet services.

Altec Lansing announced the MIX BOOMBOX iMT810 digital boombox with integrated dock for iPhone and iPod. As the successor to the iMT800, the new model has an aggressive design and offers “epic bass”. Altec Lansing adds to its inMotion line the new IMW725 inMotion Air speaker system for iPod and iPhone. The system can stream music wirelessly from computer using included USB transmitter, or from iPhone, iPad, smartphone or any devices with support for Bluetooth stereo. Of course, there is also AUX input jack for music playback from other audio devices.

Altec Lansing adds to its Octiv line the new Octiv Stage MP450 docking speaker system for the iPad. This is not the first iPad speaker dock we’ve seen, but it is Altec Lansing’s first product designed to support iPad. The Octiv Stage is intended to significantly enhance center channel voicing for dialogue as well as stereo audio while playing and charging the iPad.

Altec Lansing introduces the new Octiv Mini M102 speaker system for iPod and iPhone. In addition to playback from iPod/iPhone and recharging, the Octiv Mini also serves as a functional alarm clock when combined with the free new Altec Lansing custom Alarm Rock app.
