Acer ICONIA SMART 4.8-inch Android Smartphone Tablet 1

With a bar-type form factor and a large 4.8-inch touchscreen, I am just not sure whether should I call the ICONIA SMART a smartphone or a tablet. While dual-core smartphones are coming, Acer’s SMART packs a 1GHz SnapDragon processor. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbrad OS with Acer custom UI.

Nokia N900 Running Android 2.3

Nokia’s N900 may not be the best smartphone on the market but is is probably the most ‘mod-able’ phone. After running Mac OS X 10.3, the N900 now also runs Android 2.3, thanks to the hard work of DrunkDebugger.

Samsung Nexus S and Gingerbread 2.3 in the wild home

XDA Developers has posted a bunch of pictures of the rumored Samsung Nexus S running the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Pictures show a curved and thin device. It is powered by dual core Samsung Orion 1Ghz Cortex A9 processor, 512MB of RAM and 1GB or 2GB internal storage.
