Verizon Wireless introduces the Samsung Stratosphere, the first 4G LTE smartphone to have QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text input. The Stratosphere is an Android 2.3 phone powered by Samsung’s 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and five-row QWERTY keyboard.

HTC announced the new Explorer affordable Android smartphone for all. The compact phone comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel camera. Running Android OS, the Explorer includes HTC Sense UI for intuitive use and Smart Dialer for making phone calls easily.

HTC announced the new Sensation XL, an update to the original Sensation/Sensation XE, featuring a larger screen and Beats Audio. The new phone comes with a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a sliding full QWERTY keyboard with large keys for easy typing, and a 3.2 Megapixel with auto focus and video recording. The Enlighten is powered by a 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with support for Adobe Flash 10.

T-Mobile is launching in October the new HTC Amaze 4G (aka HTC Ruby) Android smartphone that will be the carrier’s first smartphone to take advantage of T-Mobile’s faster 4G (HSPA+ 42) network.
