Huawei is launching its new MediaPad tablet, which is the first 7-inch Android 3 Honeycomb tablet device. Powered by a dual-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor, the MediaPad runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, which is the same as version 3.1 but optimized for 7-inch tablets. It comes with a IPS capacitive touchscreen with 217 pixel per inch.

EAFT Technologies from India introduces its MagicTile Marathon Android tablet. The 10.1-inch device is powered by 1GHz Tegra 2 processor with 512MB of memory. It runs Android 2.2. The Marathone comes with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024×600 resolution and a 1.3 Megapixel camera.

ViewSonic launches its ViewBook 730 7-inch Android tablet. Powered by by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512MB RAM, the VB730 runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS, instead of tablet-friendly Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The tablet has a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen with 400:1 contrast and 380cd/m2 brightness, a VGA front camera, integrated microphone and speakers and microSD card slot.

Chinese company Haier announced its HaiPad tablet device for the Chinese market. The 7-inch HaiPad runs Android Froyo with a customized UI. It is powered by FreeScale iMX515 A8 800MHz processor and supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and WCDMA 3G connectivity. The HaiPad, like Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, can handle phone calls and text as well.

Archos announced its G9 series Android tablets, including the 80 G9 and the 101 G9, both running Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. The G9 tablets are powered by TI’s OAP 4 processor with ARM Cortex dual-core A9 running at 1.5GHz. They can be equipped with either 16GB flash memory or a 250GB hard drive.

Archos launches its Arnova 7 Android tablet that costs just $99. The 7-inch device runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS. With such price point, don’t expect capacitive touchscreen. The Arnova 7 has a 7-inch 800×4800 resistive touchscreen and supports WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. It can handle H.264, MPEG-4, RealVideo video playback up to 720p resolution at 30fps.

ViewSonic adds to its line of tablet the new ViewSonic 730, an Android tablet designed for the value seeker who doesn’t want to compromise on features. Powered by an ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM, the 7-inch tablet runs Android 2.2 OS. It comes with 8GBinternal memory

Toshiba is going to release its Thrive Android tablet in the US market in July. The Thrive is basically the US version of the company’s Regza Tablet announced for Japan two month before. It is powered by Tegra 2 dual core processor that can handle Full HD 1080p video playback and runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet-friendly OS.

Other than the WindPad 100A, MSI expands its Android tablet line with the WindPad Enjoy 10 and WindPad Enjoy 7, both running Android 2.3 OS. Powered by AMR Cortex A8 1.2GHz CPU, the 10-inch Enjoy 10 and 7-inch Enjoy 7 has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory.
