Sprint launches the Frost White version of the Samsung Epic 4G Touch Galaxy S II smartphone. The Epic 4G Touch, unlike the original Epic 4G, comes without physical QWERTY keyboard but a large 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus 800×480 touchscreen. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1.2Ghz dual core processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with the iconic TouchWiz UI.

ViewSonic, other than tablets, is also launching Android-powered smartphone, the ViewPhone 3 (aka V350) that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with a custom UI. What makes the phone stands out from the crowd of Android smartphone is its dual-SIM capability, allowing users to separate work and personal calls without owning two mobile phones. Motorola announced the MOTOLUXE, a slim Android smartphone heading to Greater China, Europe and Latin America markets. Actually, the device is just the same one as the Motorola XT615, which have been announced for Taiwan. The slim device boasts a 4-inch 480×854 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera and a front-facing VGA camera.
