Mac OS 7.5 on NDS

Here is a video showing the Mac OS 7.5 running in the Nintendo DS. Though a bit slow, the Mac OS 7.5 works well in the NDS. If you also want to try it, get the Mini vMac.

Mac on ds? You might think its crazy but with lazyone’s mini vmac ds you can emulate mac os 6 to 7.5.5

We have seen the ModBook, offered jointly by OWC and Axiotron before, here MacWorld gives us a hands-on video on the ModBook.

The ModBook can be considered as a disassembled MacBook that to be put back together again as a pen-computing platform while u can add the extra GPS module.
The ModBook is a 1.83GHz or 2GHz MacBook that’s been converted into a tablet computer—the first Mac offering of its kind. Macworld Senior News Editor Jonathan Seff got his hands on a preproduction model and made a quick video with Assistant Editor Brian Chen that shows the tablet in action.

1984 Apple announced the First Macintosh

23 Years ago, in 24 Jan 1984, Steve Jobs announced the first Macintosh Computer. Check out the video after the jump.
Named after the McIntosh variety of apple, the original Macintosh was released on January 24, 1984. It was one of the first commercially successful personal computers to use a graphical user interface (GUI) and mouse instead of the then-standard command line interface.

The Mac itself went on sale for US$2,495, two days after the ad aired. It came bundled with two useful programs designed to show off its interface: MacWrite and MacPaint.

Sharp i-Elegance DK-A1 and DK-A10

Sharp shows i-Elegance DK-A1 and DK-A10  two new iPod docking systems. Both of Sharp DK-A1 and DK-A10 features full-range bass reflex speakers with built-in side-firing subwoofers and FM/AM tuner for you to enjoy radio shows.  They has also a remote control, built-in alarm clock and sleep timer.

The Sharp i-Elegance DK-A10 comes with also a front-loading CD slot that plays standard CDs and CD-R/RW with MP3 and WMA files.

The DK-A1 and DK-A10 are in glossy white while there are are another version in sophisticated piano-black, the DK-A1BK and DK-A10BK. The DK-A1 and DK-A1BK will be available in May for $229.99 and the DK-A10 and DK-A10BK will be available in April for $329.99.

Here is a hands-on preview video on the LG KE850 mobile phone. The LG KE850 look like Apple’s newly announced iPhone. Both of them has no buttons but a wide touchscreen. There are no much information about the LG KE850. What we know is that it has a 240×400 touchscreen.

Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station

Apple announced a new AirPort Extreme Base Station which supports 802.11n. The new AirPort Extreme Base Station looks like the Apple TV. It works with both Mac and PCand supports not only 802.11a/b/g but also Draft 802.11n wireless protocols. The Airport Extreme has a RJ-45 10/100BASE-T Ethernet WAN port and 3 RJ-45 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN ports and an USB port for connecting a USB printer or USB external hard drive.

Here is a video clip from CBS giving us a closer loom at the Apple iPhone. The Apple iPhone combines mobile phone, iPod and Internet. It has a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0.
Apple Inc’s Phil Schiller shows John Blackstone the many features of the iPhone. Apple’s latest product will go on sale this June.
