Along with the Pantech Element, AT&T is also launching another Pantech product on 22 January, the Pantech Burst 4G LTE smartphone. Targeted at value-oriented consumers, the phone will be available for just $49.99 with a two-year contrast. The slim Burst has a 4-inch Super AMOLED 800×480 touchscreen and 16GB internal memory.

AT&T will released on 22 January the Pantech Element, an affordable Android tablet running Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The Element is Pantech’s first LTE-connected Android tablet. It features a 8-inch XGA touchscreen and is waterproof with IP57 certification.

Other than the large HD screen Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, AT&T will also release in 2012 the Samsung Exhilarate, the first 4G LTE smartphone built to meet many environmental and sustainability standards. According to Samsung, the phone is made from 80 percent recycled post-consumer materials. It also offers eco modes and tools such as an Eco calendar and calculator. It was certified as Platinum by UL Environment – their highest level of sustainability certification.

AT&T launches its third 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Nitro HD which is the carrier’s first smartphone to have  a true HD screen. The new Nitro HD comes with a 4.5-inch True HD AH-IPS (Advanced High-Performance In-Plane Switching) touchscreen with 1280×720 HD resolution (ie.329ppi) and 500 nit brightness. It supports AT&T’s LTE 4G high-speed data network.

AT&T releases the HTC Vivid, one of the first AT&T 4G LTE-capable Android smartphone. Powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, the Vivid 4G comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It comes with a 4.5-inch large qHD 540×960 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus, dual LED flash, f/2.2, 28mm lens; a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.

AT&T announced the Pantech Pocket, a slim Android smartphone with a unique form factor. The phone has a 4-inch 800×600 touchscreen, instead of 800×480 found on most Android phones, making it wider and shorter. It runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM.

As the follow-up to the Captivate, AT&T and Samsung are planning to launch the new Captivate Glide Android smartphone with side-slide QWERTY keyboard. The new device supports AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ 21 Mbps (Category 14) for fast data connection. It is boosted by a 1GHz Tegra 2 AP20H dual-core processor with 1GB RAM, 1GB ROM and runs Android 2.3.

AT&T is going to release the Motorola ATRIX 2 Android smartphone, which is the successor to the Motorola Atrix. The new phone is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM for enhanced performance. It sports a 4.3-inch qHD 960×540 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, a VGA front camera for video chat, GPS support and eCompass.

AT&T launches the Pantech Link II quick messaging phone with QWERTY keyboard. The new phone runs Brew MP mobile OS 1.0.2. Measuring 10.7mm thick, the phone fits into your pocket or purse. It comes with a 2.4-inch 320×240 color display, full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth support and a microSD card slot.

AT&T launches the Huawei Impulse 4G Android smartphone, which is the carrier’s first smartphone from Huawei. Though with 4G in its name, the phone doesn’t support 4G LTE network but quad-band HSPA network with up to 14.4Mbps. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM7230 with Scorpion 800MHz processor.
