AT&T and Samsung Mobile launch the new Samsung Mythic (A897) and Samsung Flight (A797) touchscreen mobile phones for qucik messaging. Nokia introduces not only the new X-series and the N97 mini, the Finnish cellphone maker also brings the Mural clamshell to the America via AT&T. The Mural is a clamshell mobile phone with 3G and HSDPA support. It has a 2.2-inch QVGA LCD screen, a large keypad, a 2 Megapixel camera and dedicated music buttons.

AT&T releases the Nokia Surge QWERTY sliding phone that is previously known as the Mako. The Surge features a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, a 2 Megapixel and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia Surge has built-in GPS receiver and supports AT&T Navigator service.

As AT&T’s internal slide shown, the carrier is planning to release Pantech Aladdin later this year. The Aladdin is a QWERTY slider phone that supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS 3G and HSDPA 3.5G. As you can see in the photo, the phone has a sliding QWERTY keyboard and ordinary number-pad.

Yet another upcoming Samsung phone for AT&T, the Infinity is a touchscreen mobile phone. It has a 3-inch 240×400 touchscreen display and a 2 Megapixel camera. You can also expect aGPS support, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, and built-in media player. The Infinity can record video in h.264, h.263 or MPEG-4 format.

AT&T and LG is planning to launch a new QWERTY slider named the Monaco (aka Pico) that will run Windows Mobile 7. The Monaco features a 3.2-inch 480×800 touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, WiFi and Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.

As we have previously reported, Palm is going to release later the second webOS-based phone, the Palm Eos. Now we can confirm that AT&T is planning to offer the phone in second half 2009, as indicated on AT&T’s internal slide.

AT&T and Nokia are planning to offers in the US later this year four new mobile phones, including the clamshell Grouper, the QWERTY slider Mako, the flip-style Snapper and the slider Thresher.

First of all, Nokia’s Mako is a sliding phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. It comes with a color display, a 2 Megapixel camera.
