Olympus introduces a new pocket device that combines Full HD video recorder with PCM audio recorder. The “dual recorder” records and edit 1080p Full HD video and 24 bit/96 hHz Linear PCM stereo sound. It features a 4.1mm auto focus lens and 4x digital zoom; and two condenser mics for capturing rich, dynamic sound.

Samson releases the new ZOOM H4n handy audio recorder with 4-channel high resolution audio recording and variable recording pattern capability. The H4n comes with built-in X/Y stereo condenser mics that allow variable recording patterns at either 90-degree or 120-degree. With the new digitally controlled, high-quality mic premap, and the ability to use internal and external mics simultaneously for 4-channel recording, the recorder offers improved audio quality.

Sony expands its line of digital voice recorders with three new models, the ICD-SX712D, ICD-UX512 and ICD-PX312. All these recorders have 2GB built-in memory, a microSD/M2 card slot and have USB port for PC connection. They include Intelligent Noise Cut function and the ICD-SX712D and ICD-UX512 feature S-Microphone System for high sensitivity with less noise. PX312 comes with a mono microphone.
