Nikon CoolPix P100 with 26x optical zoom angle

Nikon announced the new CoolPix P100 digital camera that get a 26x Optical Wide Angle Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens and a 10.3-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor. The P100 features high-speed shooting at 10fps and an in-camera high dynamic range (HDR) function, which merges images of the same scene to achieve a single image with a broad range of tonal detail.

Ricoh CX3 Camera gets back-illuminated CMOS sensor and 10x zoom

Ricoh announced the successor to the CX2, the CX3 compact digital camera, which is equipped with a 10 Megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and a 28mm wide angle lens with 10.7x optical zoom. It includes the noise reduction algorithm introduced on the GR DIGITAL III for better image quality.
