BenQ Qisda QPD-111 MID Concept

BenQ’s Qisda Creative Design Center has created the QPD-111 MID that has got the iF product design award 2009. The Qisda QPD-111 is a mobile internet device (MID)  with a 5-inch LCD multi-touch display and build-in G-sensor. It has a red Hot Key located at the upper left corner can be pressed for instant Internet connection.

We are not sure if BenQ will bring this MID to the market. One more picture after the break:

BenQ MID S6 Officially Official (Pics, Video)

Finally, BenQ made the official product page of its MID S6 online. The MID S6 is now available for pre-order in Italy.

BenQ’s S6 is a Mobile Internet Device (MID) powered by an Intel 800MHz Atom processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB of SSD. It features a 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b/g, support for UMTS/HSDPA 3G and triband GSM/EDGE cellular network. It comes with a stylus touch pen and a microSD card slot.

BenQ Atom-powered MID Specs Revealed

BenQ has demonstrated a MID device at the IDF Shanghai. BenQ’s MID is powered by an Intel Silverthorone 800MHz processor, Poulsbo chipset, 512MB memory and 4GB of SSD.

You can also expect HSDPA support, WiFi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR connectivity. Voice command is also supported and you may also want to get the optional GPS feature. The device has also BenQ’s G-Sensor for direct touch and free movement to surf internet.
