Finally, BenQ made the official product page of its MID S6 online. The MID S6 is now available for pre-order in Italy.

BenQ’s S6 is a Mobile Internet Device (MID) powered by an Intel 800MHz Atom processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 2GB of SSD. It features a 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b/g, support for UMTS/HSDPA 3G and triband GSM/EDGE cellular network. It comes with a stylus touch pen and a microSD card slot.

BenQ S6 UMPC

This is BenQ S6, an UMPC with a nice UI, good styling and unique features such as shake-to-overview and auto-rotation.

The S6 is powered by an Intel Atom 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of flash storage. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g, GPS and optional 3G connectivity. It will be available in Europe through a mobile carrier with a data contract.
