BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100

Research In Motion (RIM) announced the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G (aka Pearl 2 or Pearl 9100 Series), which is the successor to the Pearl 8100 series. Boosted by 624Mhz processor, the Pearl 3G has 256MB flash memory and runs BlackBerry OS 5.

CrackBerry has posted the first live shots of the new BlackBerry Pearl 9100 (codename Striker) 3G smartphone. As you can see, the the 9100 gets a touchpad and a SureType keyboard, like other Pearls. It has a color display and a camera with LED flash.

RIM’s newly launched BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone (aka Kickstart) has been disassembled. The first-ever Blackberry clamshell comes with a 240×320 display, a 2 Megapixel camera, SureType keypad, support for WiFi and a microSD card slot.

Finally, T-Mobile launches the BlackBeet Pearl Flip 8220 (aka KickStart 8220) smartphone, after Verizon introduces the BlackBerry Storm. The BlackBerry Flip 8220 is RIM’s first clamshell style Blackberry phone.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip features a 240×320 internal display and an external 160×129 display. It comes with a 2 Megapixel camera that can do video capture and integrated music player. Other than tri-band GSM EDGE, the Flip 8220 supports also WiFi connectivity. It has the SureType QWERTY keyboard and a microSD card slot.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone is now available from AT&T. BlackBerry Pearl 8120 features 240×260 LCD color display, a 2 Megapixel camera, and SureType QWERTY keyboard.

T-Mobile is going to launch a White BlackBerry Pearl. The BlackBerry Pearl features a 240 x 260 TFT display, 1.3-megapixel camera. The phone has 64MB Flash memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.0, a SureType keypad. The spec of the White Pearl will probably be the same.
According to our sources, it’s not a flat color, but a pearly white that “shines” — a little more glitzy than the solid black we’re used to seeing on this sucker. Look for the phone to launch this coming Monday for the same price as its darker sibling (we hope).
