Another new compact digital camera from Nikon, the CoolPix S510 is a 8.1 Megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It features also ISO rating up to 2000, Optical lens shift Vibration Reduction, a 2.5-inch LCD display, 52MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC memory card slot.

The S510 measures 88 x 51 x 22 mm and weighs only 125g. It is available in Silver, Urban Black and Pink.

Nikon presents the new CoolPix S700 digital camera. S700 is a 12.1 Megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, ISO rating up to 3200. It features also a 2.7-inch LCD display, Image Sensor Shift Vibration Reduction, 52MB internal memory. There is also a SD/SDHC memory card slot.

The CoolPix S700 measures 89 x 54 x 23 mm and weighs 130g.

Nikon CoolPix P50 is a digital camera featuring an 8.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3.6x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It supports up to 2000 of ISO sensitivity, Electronic Vibration Reduction. It has a 2.4-inch LCD display, 52MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC card slot.

THe Nikon CoolPix P50 is powered by two AA alkaline battery. It measures 94.5 x 66 x 44 mm and weighs 160g.

Nikon announced the new CoolPix P5100 digital camera which is the successor of the P5000 camera. Nikon CoolPix P5100 is a 12.1 Megapixel camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It features Optical lens shift Vibration Reduction, an ISO rating up to 3200, a 2.5-inch LCD display. The P5100 has 52MB internal memory while it supports also SD/SDHC memory cards.

Nikon announced the new CoolPix S51c digital camera with WiFi connectivity. The Nikon CoolPix S51c is a 8 Megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. S51c supports both WiFi 802.11b/g and USB connectivity. It features also ISO rating up to 1600, Optical lens shift Vibration Reduction and a 3-inch large LCD display. With WiFi support, the camera can connect wirelessly to the Internet and upload photos to Nikon’s Mypicturtown for sharing with family and friends.

Sony adds DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 to its Cyber-shot digital camera line-up. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 is a 8 Megapixel camera with 5x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens, and a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T70 is also a 8 Megapixel camera and it has 3x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD widescreen.

Sony introduces the new HVR-HD1000U Camcorder that supports both HDV and Standard DV formats. Sony HVR-HD1000U features 6.1 Megapixel ClearVid CMOS image sensor, Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonner T lens with10x optical zoom.

Canon adds two new cams to its A series, the Powershot A650 IS and A720 IS. Canon Powershot A650 IS offers 12.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 6x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom with Optical Image Stabilizer System. It is powered by Canon’s DIGIC III image processor, and has an ISO rating up to 1600. There is a 2.5-inch LCD display.

Canon Powershot A720 IS is a 8 Megapixel camera with 6x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It features the Optical Image Stabilizer System and is powered by the DIGIC III processor. It can capture VGA high quality videos and has a 2.5-inch LCD display.
