Alongside the G12, Canon introduces the PowerShot SX3 IS digital camera, which is the world’s first point-and-shoot camera to feature a 35X-Wide Angle Optical Zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization. The lens has a 24mm ultra-wide angle.

Alongside the compact SD4500 IS, Canon brings another long zoom digital camera, the PowerShot SX130 IS, replacing the SX120 IS. Canon equipps the camera with a 12x optical zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization and 28mm wide angle, upgrading from 10x zoom of SX120 IS.

Canon announced the PowerShot SX210 IS digital camera made to replace the SX200 IS. The new SX210 IS features a 28mm wide-angle lens with 14x Optical Zoom and 4-stop optical Image Stabilizer with Dynamic IS. It is equipped with a 14.1 Megapixel sensor and a 3-inch PureColor II G LCD.

Along with the new Digital ELPH cameras, Canon brings the PowerShot SX20 IS and SX120 IS super-zoom digital cameras, supposed to replace the SX10 and SX200 respectively. The former has a 20x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide angle while the latter gets a 10x optical zoom lens.

Canon introduces the new PowerShot SX200 IS digital camera with 12x ultra zoom. Canon’s SX200 features a 12.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a powerful 12x Optical Zoom lens with 28mm wide angle and optical image stabilization. It has also 4x digital zoom.

Canon introduces the new PowerShot SX10 IS and SX1 IS digital cameras. Both PowerShot SX1 IS and PowerShot SX10 IS feature a 10 Megapixel image sensor, a 28mm wide angle 20x optical zoom lens, the Optical image stabilization and the new DIGIC 4 image processor.

They offer also the Face Detection and Motion Dectection technology and Intelligent Contrast Correction. The PowerShot SX1 IS has a 2.8-inch LCD display while the PowerShot SX10 IS gets a 2.5-inch display.

Here is another new entry-level camera, PowerShot SX110, from the Japanese camera maker, Canon. The PowerShot SX110 is a 9 Megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom, Canon’s DIGIC III image processor, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200, image stabilizer and a 3-inch LCD …

Canon announced the PowerShot SX100 IS digital camera with 10X optical zoom. SX100 is a 8 Megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, Optical Image Stabilizer System, ISO rating up to 1600 and a 2.5-inch LCD display.

The PowerShot SX100 supports SD/SDHC as well as MMC cards. It measures 108.7 x 71.4 x 46.7mm and weighs 265g.
